I'm Rich......bitch, becuase I have a good heart and alot of good friends...................................................

sike...I rich because I'm gigolo...

I know how you feel, man. I look at GA and see tons and tons of yuppies. I'm broke as a joke while you motherfuckers have "back logs" of games.

BACK LOGS?!

ipods?!

CARS?!

i'm not rich but because i have 0 credit debt, no children and no outstanding money owed to people i have enough disposable income to buy videogames, tv's, new consoles etc.

im not rich, but i enjoy luxuries that some others dont every now and again :D

:lol!

Well I am making phat money but still live with my parents, so eh. I don't buy as many games as I used to though.

i live in shelters and frequent libraries a lot. i yearn for my first big mac from mcdonalds. sometimes, i'll walk up to the cashier window and tell them my story in the hope they'll give me any extras, but mcdonalds has a no handout policy.

I have a great, high-paying job. I have a lot of money... to much, in fact. I don't do much with it. I'm going to the Foo Fighters concert tomorrow in my company's suite, free! My next goal is to get a job at Microsoft.

I'm not rich, but I worked my ass off for 5 years so I could pay off my house and car.

So, it allows me to live without the worry of buying an expensive meal here, or a new couch there.

money, hoes, cars and clothes, thats how all my n****s know
blowin dro on 24's,
thats how all my n****s roll

but you piss it away, you'll be broke in 10 years. :P

I'm bitter

no I'll have even more money in 10 years (close to another million). I make 2.5 time what I spend :lol

I don't think anyone here is rich. Rather, a lot of the posters here are young professionals with very few financial responsibilities and a lot of disposable income.

Of course, there are also the spoiled bastards like olimario.

....i make 9.24 an hour as a CNA...i don't make enough to even afford transportation...but i do budget well, i might also add i'm coming off a seperation...kills you income in half you know....i still have a back log of games and i have a nice 50" LCD :)

I guess I can afford it because I am good at saving my money. I don't like shopping much (I only buy clothes like twice a year LOL), so all of my free money usually goes to videogames, books or DVDs. I also limit myself to spending only half of what I deposit into my checking every month. What I need also holds priority over videogames and the other things that I want. I'm a firm believer in that if you know how to manage your money right, you can afford just about anything over time. My PS2 collection is huge for example, but I only ever bought one or two games a month.

i'm rich because I invested in the stock market when i got my first job at 15, and all my friends laughed at me and said i was wasting my money. look who's laughing now! :lol

How can you afford these cars, console, tvs and all these shits? Debt? Selling cocaine?

I'm not rich yet, but I'm 21 and I'm starting a Roth IRA. I plan on abusing 401k and other investments as soon as I graduate.

But here's an idea. Maybe...just maybe self made rich people don't buy expensive cars. Maybe....and again this is just an idea, they buy cheap reliable cars and invest.

Fuck all you rich people. You're spoiled, the scum of the earth, and I desperately, desperately want to be one of you.

I'm/we are not rich, but I/we are well off... I guess we're probably considered buppies....

That's the irony isn't it. To become rich (assuming no inheritance) you must do away with your desire for material possessions and invest your money.

Many self made rich people look average-poor. Many people that appear to be well off are actually in debt to support their material possessions.

Define "rich"

Yeah seriously, are we talking about rich as in "I can afford everything I want" or rich as in over $250k/year?

My family is pretty well off but, personally, I can never have enough money.

I think there are a number of guys on this forum with decent jobs, no significant other, and a major disregard for retirement saving. Couple those, and you've got lots of free capital :D

Well, I like Lamp.

No Credit debt, no kids or dependants, give my parents a few hundred a month to stay at home till I have enough saved up to go "straight to home". It's getting there, but it'd be better if I quit reading this place, buying all these "oooh, must buy" things.

ASSES, THE WHOLE LOTA YA

Exactly, that was me last summer, I wasted so much money on dvd, videogames and misc amusement that it makes me sick. Nowdays i'm saving my money :lol

I'm not rich but I do have it pretty good.

My folks have a nice place and I live with them. I have a good job and I don't have any debt. I bought a new car in 2003 and I was able to pay it off in a year. Since then I've been putting away around $2500 a month so that I can buy a house because I refuse to throw money away on rent and my parents agree with me. I've got like $25,000 in the bank so far. The rest I spend on gas, video games, going out, etc. I don't pay any rent but I do buy my parents nice things pretty often.

One thing I can say is that I do know the value of a dollar. We didn't always have it this well. When my parents started out they had an empty apartment with a matress and a little kitchen table and that's it! My parents worked very hard to get where they are today and watching them work hard taught me to do the same thing.

I will say though....one thing that sucks about having money is that you usually end up living around nothing but republicans. We are the only democrats we know around here. It would be nice to have someone else around here that shared our philosophy. Its very frustrating living around people who still vehemently believe that Sadam had WMDs and shit like that. Its like living in the twilight zone. And they all have those annoying "W"s on their cars. It makes me ill. It really does.
