I usually smoke DuMaurier regular, and sometimes I'll go with Players.

I'm just curious as to how many people here smoke. I'd also like to here about some of your experiences trying to quit, etc.

I smoked like 1/3 of a Kahlua cigar at work, but that's the most I've ever bothered with it.

It was chocolaty. :)

I quit, and it was more difficult than it should've been being that I watched my dad die of lung cancer that had metastasized into his bones and brain. I still feel guilty that it took more than a couple months to quit. I didn't even get along with the guy that well. . .it was just a nasty way to go.

Cocaine is going to be the next big "diet" after this carb craze dies down.
They need to find a way to recreate the effects of cocaine on your hunger without the threat of having an OD.
I like to do a few lines a day just to keep my weight in check.

I typically smoke 3-5 Marlboro lights a day, but if I go out at night (drink etc) I chain smoke and can finish a pack in a few hours.

If anything, people would turn to amphetamines for that. Cocaine is way too expensive. Let's hope it doesn't happen either way. A drug problem (unless you're just a stoner) is worse than a weight problem.

I chain smoke when I drink, and it's even more of a problem if I smoke pot. I've finished a pack that was almost full in two hours. Good thing I don't touch the reefer anymore :p

used to be a regular cigarrette smoker, but i have given up for the past 3 or so years. i didnt quit you see, i still smoke now and then, whenever i get the notion to buy a pack, i buy a pack, which is every few months may be. but i can go without it for months as well. but if i do buy a pack, i smoke usually 3/4 cigarretes a day, and about a pack in a few hours when drinking.
as for weed, basically started late in high school, but didnt really get into it till college. smoked a lot during the first two years of college, didnt stick with it. had my experience and moved on.
and never did any other drugs.

I usually smoke a half pack per day. Quite a few people I know have been passing through the Duty Free at Kansai Airport the last little while, so I've been getting a regular stream Marlboro Lights and Mild Sevens cartons the last while. I gotta say, I much prefer those to the DuMauriers I usually have to buy here. It's gonna be trouble next year when I'm in Japan with cheap smokes all about. >_<

At my (ultra-liberal) school, a lot more people smoke than I would have expected -- you'd think they'd know better...

nah no session for me. I like to smoke alone and with only female company. Weed and me is a spiritual thing man; its how i stay in touch with myself, helps me block out all outside interferance so i can focus in on what i really have to say to myself. seems like everytime i smoke with other dudes we just sit around telling each other how high we are.

oh, wait. I've smoked cocaine twice on my sticky fat dank nugs. I felt like I was floating and kinda out of control. I'll stick to just the sticky fat dank nugs and occasional mild menthol.

I feel you on that... I used to always smoke w/ friends...and still do, but they usually 'blow' my high. Talk too much, piss me off by beating me in a game, or the worst offense, 'steaming' the jay, forgetting to pass it over.

I also need to stop smoking w/ women. I need to learn to keep my worlds seperate. I find that they usually fall asleep on me just after a couple pulls. Out of frustration one night last week, I had to stick it 'in' while she was sleep. Damn near had a coronary 'til she realized what it was...
