Since Socom 2 has dropped to $20, I just wanted to see if anybody still plays. If anyone is interested we are setting up a GAF Socom 2 match on Saturday night around 11 PM EST, please check here for which area and title of the game.

To fire up SOCOM II for one last time for a GAF reunion game on Sunday. To those who don't have the game, it's now a PS2 Greatest Hits so shouldn't dent the wallet much. GAFfers like kaching, Kinesis, and anyone else please feel free to join the game as you guys are welcome too. We will not be playing any Hdd downloadable maps so no one will be left out in the cold. If we have any one from outside the States that wants to play too, we can try to setup a room in the International Server. Rahelah!

My only issue is the lack of HDD players. At peak hours you'll find around 100 players who have the HDD and all maps.

I hope Zipper and Sony choose another route for the netcode in the next sequel, streaming through UDP was a bad decision and why we have such a problem with collision detection in the first place.

I'll try to play some tonight if I get home in time. I got really bummed out about how the maps and support were handled even though the game retained it's popularity for so long. I ended up putting my time into other online games, though Socom II will forever be king! I'm praying the rumors of Socom 3 later this spring are true.

Hey guys, i'll play some rounds with you... it's been a long, long time.

I just signed on for the first time in months, and my clan list, friends lists, all gone. I even had to reregister Drey1082... That's how long it's been since I played.. haha.

What time are guys planning to be on... and if you still have the clan, can you reinvite me so I can see who's on?

I'll send out the invites tonight to anyone who wants to join up again. The clan has like only 5 members who reregistered after the Big Reset of stats. Games were pretty fun last night with Wario and Gunstar. I forgot how much fun the map Deathtrap is *sound of rocketlauncher*

We will start another match up around 7:45-8:00pm Pacific tonight depending on how many people show up. Wario seems to not have lost a step in playing SOCOM II if last nights games were any indication

I think I may go back to playing Socom 2 again regularly, or at least play Socom 2 instead of the cheat-fest that is Halo 2. I'll try to play online every other night or so...I won't be able to go online tonight though
