With all the old players doing fine in gaming and some new players such as Google Stadia not doing so well. If you had to choose a company not mentioned, who would you like to see get a hold in gaming and why?

For me it would be NEC. I have many fond memories of my Turbografx 16, Bonk, Cosmic Fantasy and other games. Even the handheld you could connect to the TV and play full fledged console games was ahead of its time (turbo express). Their version of SF2 and Castlevania was also great!

Thoughts? And what company that might not presently be in gaming do you think might make a competent competitor?

I want Amazon to dump a shit ton of money into promising new people and ideas. There will be plenty of failures, but we're gonna get some great stuff out of it. See: Netflix.

Would be interesting to see the silicon OEMs like AND, Nvidia, Intel create in-house studios that are a bit like Crytek - creating visually stunning games that push hardware to the limit.

Hmmm tht would be promising and thy know the tech. I bet some retina melting games would come out of that. Some good engines too.
