Brawl was my favorite, but might be biased because that's the version that I have my fond memories with my college roomates happened.

Brawl isn't bad at all, but after people hyping it so much for so long it was lacking a certain something that I think people were expecting.

It was first shown in 2006, didn't actually come out until 2008, that was a long time for people to hype something up.
