Don’t mean to come across with an attitude. Look, I don’t like this style of presentation. It’s so fake and almost gives me a feeling of North Korea vibes where everything is roses and sunshine and we will show you the absolute best of us even though the real devs are slaving away behind closed doors.
I just came for gameplay like we all did is all I’m saying. I got that with Indy and I’m happy.
All good. I can even understand and agree with some of the criticism that it may be
too scripted or even comes off as cringe.
None of these developers are entitled to your admiration or respect simply because they are developers.
Having said that, these games are still made by people, and I don't think there's anything wrong with having more of a human element in these.
It's one dedicated format in the year filled with conventional trailers and longer game-focused showcases.
If you're not interested in this particular format simply ignore it and go spend your time on something worth your time, rather being being upset about its mere existence, that's all I'm saying.
Hating people for simply having the nerve to talk about something they spend years of their lives working on just comes off as needlessly indignant.
