There was a time though when I genuinely liked Lindsay's videos. Back when she was the Nostalgia Chick on Doug Walker's Channel Awesome site, it was clear as night and day that Lindsay was funnier and way more informed in her film critique than Doug on his best day.



Then the #ChangetheChannel movement happened and most of Channel Awesome's roster quit in protest to the upper managements supposed abuse of power and other sins. Lindsay, who was all praises for Doug before, was more than happy to throw him under the bus and join in the dogpiling. Nice way to pay back the guy who got her noticed in the first place.

After that, Lindsay dropped the Nostalgia Chick gimmick and started doing videos as herself. Mostly focusing on pop culture and what not. Her videos on musical theater like Rent and Cats are some the most informative videos I've seen with regards to the subject they're covering.





But for every good video she does, she balances it with some bad ones. See, Lindsay even back in her Channel Awesome days was already a hardcore feminist and a big believer in the SJW ideology. And she's only gotten worse since then. Even putting out a video justifying the cancellation of JK Rowling.



The irony of her getting savaged by the very same cancel culture she helped build in recent years is just.. well:
