That was the straw that broke the camel's (#ChangetheChannel) back. For all their talk of justice, Lindsay and her crew showed themselves to be a bunch of hypocrites by staying silent on this issue. It eroded whatever public sympathy they'd built up.

So we need to figure out what canceled really is here. Is this social media only or truly a societal persona non grata. The way I see it right now is canceling is some woke scorecard that is being kept by people these days in order to what? Maintain their brand? Their standing in society? Are humans really that irredeemable that they should be tossed in the trash, incapable of reflection and growth? Are counter-thoughts and opinions really that bad? Shouldn’t they be at least welcomed, challenged and used as a measuring stick of societal progress?

I actually do wonder if a person like Ellis, once emerged from the thresher, realizes how ridiculous an endeavor trying to remain woke ever was. How much is playing along with ridiculously rigid standards worth anyway? Certainly not ones own thoughts and words.

For real. I say this as a fan of Lindsay's content from before, I wish to God I hadn't read her Twitter feed and found out what a crazed NPC she is in real life.

For all the dumb things she's done, I do think Lindsay has a modicum of intelligence (unlike say, Anita Sarkesian). And I hope she wises up and realizes how poisonous and self destructive the woke lefty ideology is. Though given her need for attention and validation from her peers, I sincerely doubt that.

I'm not going to bother trying to google how much population those 10 cities cover.... (probably 50+ million?) but with covid and irrational people stuck at home pissed for a year, I think 122 hate crimes vs 49 is pretty darn good. So out out tons of people, you got 73 more cases.

If someone asked me how many hate crimes against Asians there are before and after covid, I would had guessed its way more than 49 to start with and way more than 122 after a year.
