I had Red Lobster for the first time a few weeks ago. It was my MIL’s birthday and for whatever the reason that was the uhh...comfort food that was settled upon.
In general, I don’t like crawly seafood. If it swims it’s usually good, but I’m not a huge fan of shrimp, crab, or lobster. When I get sushi I specifically avoid crab or shrimp filled rolls. However, drench anything in butter and garlic and I can get by...and the fabled biscuits were legit good.
Overall I’d say it was maybe a 6/10 experience. It’s probably like Shenmue for most people, living off the nostalgia...but dollar for dollar I would rather hit up a local Mexican dive burrito place.
