Why is there no Tetris Attack/PPL game for GBA?

Really. I'm baffled as to why there is no GBA iteration of the best puzzler of all times. The GBC version just doesn't do the thing justice. Nintendo seemed pretty determined to get this game out on all systems (GB, GBC, SNES, N64, GCN (Japan only)). Why no GBA version? It's just asking for it! Or even the DS? Can you imagine wireless 4-player Tetris Attack? It would be bliss.

Make it happen, Nintendo!! *shakes fist*

It would be beyond awesome. While they're at it, make a sequel to Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo for DS or PSP so I can play that on the go. Boy, that'd be amazing.

With Puzzle Collection for Gamecube you can download the games onto the GBA.

Even if it came out here, the Panel de Pon download is only akin to a "demo" and only has the Endless mode. This sucks.

Unless you really really want four player gaming and single cart multiplayer, would a GBA version of a tile puzzle game like this be so much better than the existing GB/GBC games?

I dunno about you, but the GBC version of Tetris Attack wasn't nearly as fun as the SNES version. It just didn't feel right.

My thoughts exactly. The play field is smaller, the "game physics" aren't quite the same, timed differently, whatever... it just doesn't feel the same. And the neat eye candy just isn't there.
