The multiplayer and some of the modes they added into the Xbox version were actually kind of fun. If they actually took the concept and devleoped it, the sequel could be good. But that's probably not going to happen.

Rockstar isn't publishing State of Emergency 2. If I recall correctly, it's being handled by Bam! Entertainment. You have to respect the exclamation point.

And I sort of liked the first game. It was mindlessly enjoyable in certain modes, such as the one where you just had to wreck stuff and kill people before the man brought you down.

The A.I., however, was TERRIBLE. Escort missions were like a chainsaw root canal.

Definitely true. One of my friends bought Manhunt just because it was Rockstar. He regretted not listening to me.

State of Emergency was and is developed by VIS entertainment and now being published by BAM!.
