Wii-U - Amazon listing UK prices and launch date

Just out of interest, did you have any issues and who's your ISP? Just trying to see if there's any pattern with these connection issues or if its random.

No issues, apart from a slow download.
ISP is BT (Infinity) and I have an Asus RT-N16 router.

Yeah, I had no issues with any of my Laptops, my Wii, my phone, my 360 etc. but I had to change the DNS/IP settings for it to even connect to the Livebox, now it is saying that the internet is unavailable(which this post proves is a lie), it's not exactly leaving a good first impression.
 
Just had problems setting up the internet on mine too, it just refused to automatically connect, had to do it all manually instead. Now it's updating so very slowly...

Mine says 'Shipment details received, awaiting receipt of the parcel', no change from last night, but I've had stuff delivered quite late from DPD before I think.

Amazon UK, Premium Pack ordered on September 13th for £199.

Now on it's way to Germany via DHL. Should be here on Saturday!

Yeah that's exactly what mine still says. Its a pain because i only had tonight to try it out before im out clubbing all weekend.
 
Errrr slight problem, my premium bundle is missing a copy of Nintendoland. A quick search of twitter seems to suggest that I'm not the only one who doesn't have one. Anyone else here with the same problem?
 
My £199 Premium has also been dispatched from Amazon UK :D Shipped by DHL Express to Denmark. Delivery estimate: Tomorrow. YAY!!
 
Shopto people, TNT tracking is working for me now. Unfortunately it says it's in transit and not out for delivery, so I guess I'm not getting it today :/ Annoying.
 
Just a heads up anyone who has a blockbuster, they're selling FlingSmash brand new for £18 (it scans at £18.98 though!). Just picked one up along with Zelda Crossbow game and Zapper for £25 all in! Only Zelda game I needed so I thought why not. Adds to my growing collection of Wii Games to play!

So I am all set now, Zelda remote plus, black remote plus and I bought a motion plus adapter just in case we ever need it.

Shame my Wii U still hasn't turned up :(

Now I won't buy a Wii U until there's a nice discount somewhere else. First Nintendo launch I'm skipping, too, I kinda want to buy it anyways but it's way too expensive...

Same here, 3 separate Wii U related things all say dispatching soon. Not too worried though since quite a few couriers allow for midnight collection, I've ordered things in the past at 11pm and got them next day with both parcel force and TNT.

Having said that I haven't had much luck with amazon and consoles, they didn't get the Wii to me on launch day and sent me the wrong Gamecube bundle back in the day. Can't believe it's been 6 years since the Wii EU launch thread.
 
Well, regarding my console and three games from Amazon:

"I have just confirmed that there wont be any delay. Your parcel will be dispatched today as arranged and delivery to you tomorrow 30th November"

So, I'm not too worried since they contacted the centre. Hopefully I'll be fine! Just leaving it late to change the status of my order had me worried :)
 
Damn this update is taking a while, about 25% of the way in so far.

I love the pad so far though, the only thing i don't like is theres no remote option for onkyo receivers, hopefully that'll be fixed in an update.

Does anyone know if theres some way to get onkyo receivers to work with the remote function?
 
game phoned me earlier. apparently they are no longer honouring the £349.99 price for the zombiu bundle, it's now £379.99 with a starter pack. that's the cheapest zombiu bundle.

naturally, I questioned this and said I placed a deposit for a £349.99 xombiu bundle, I was told I could get it at price, but not tomorrow. I'd have to wait for the second shipment, which is coming in 15th of december.

what are my options here? should I go in tomorrow and demand a the £349.99 xombiu bundle? are they obligated to honour that price?

Tell them where they can stick it. Order one from Zavvi instead, think they're doing the ZombiU bundle for £329.99. Then put the score saved towards another game. Can't believe they're still in business tbh, they've always had higher prices than everyone else and the staff I've seen personally are generally clueless.
 
Just in case there's anyone else here who received their premium Wii U bundle from AmazonUK and it's missing the copy of Nintendoland that should be in there. I just contacted Amazon's customer service and they're sending me a replacement copy of the game for free to make up for it.

I am tempted to do this, but I've got a lot of credit on my points card that I was hoping to use towards reducing the price of the console. I'll pop in tomorrow and have a word with the manager, the receipt clearly says £349.99, so they can't claim they never had a bundle at that price.
 
Yay, it came. Left it pretty late in the day though! Updating now at an absolute snail's pace.

I didn't even realise the ZombiU one came with a pro controller as well so I'm really happy with that.
