Wii-U - Amazon listing UK prices and launch date

Yes, I just got that too. Cex offer £30 for Nintendo Land too. I probably will keep the game but again Amazon coming through with some way beyond the call of duty customer service here.
 
Hmm, hope my one comes with Nintendoland. Would prefer the box copy rather than have it take up space on the hard drive.

Surely you should get points for registering the Wii U?
 
Damn, that's nice of Amazon. I got my ZombiU bundle today from gamemania. I wouldn't mind a NintendoLand code :)

To get your 1000 points for the WiiU, you need to go into your Club Nintendo account online and fill out the survery next to your console. I think it's under My Account > My Registered Games & Systems > Survey for Points.
 
If I track my HDNL package through amazon or hdnl.co.uk it says it's been out for delivery since this early this morning, but if I track using parcels2go.com it says it ended up back at the depot this afternoon. No delivery attempts have been made according to my IP cam. I contacted amazon and they extended my prime service, I guess that's something.

It's nice that amazon sent me the download code, but I'll keep on them to send me a retail box, as that's my preference - and what was advertised.

Really tempted to use it though
 
So not only did I get my Premium pack for £199, but I also got a free Nintendo Land eShop voucher.. amazon must be Santa!
 
Few UK NNID's from this thread.

- Load Miiverse
- Go to User Menu (upper-left corner, with a small picture of your Mii)
- The fourth option down says 'Search User'
- Type in the name you want. (Say 'RichIGN')
- The name must be specific (though case is not important)
- View the profile
- Towards the right side you'll see the Friend Request button, near 'Follow' and a drop-down arrow that allows you to Block or Report.
- Want to request another? Head back to your User Menu.

it's great. I wasn't sure after the reviews, but I've been playing non stop for about 4 hours now. it's crazy addictive and really very challenging. the controls take some getting used to but it's one of the best games to show off the potential of the gamepad.

best game at launch in my opinion.

No doubt

I'd recommend ZombiU to everyone, it's a great game. One of the best survival horror games in a long time.

definitely. the death mechanic is great as well, I love going after my former dead self and beating the crap out of them with the cricket bat. very nice way to blow off some steam after the frustration of dying.

Well I'm charging the controller before I begin. How long should I expect that to take?

Good to see my Nintendoland case isn't holy and doesn't have a massive USK logo on it.

I quite like how modest the system looks.

Have it plugged in while you do the initial setup, download, install steps. Those take ages, so it will be fully charged by the time they're done.
 
if anyone would really prefer the nintendoland disc, we can swap. i think its a keeper and having it digital would be convenient

Pretty impressed so far.

No issues with controlling my tv or connected to my wifi. The pad is nicer then I though it would be and the sound coming out of the pads speakers are pretty decent.
The touch response is also great.

/Breaths sigh of relief.

Doing the update now. It might take a while. And then I'll have to pack it all up again for Xmas.

I got a WiiU Premium Nintendoland from ToyrUs. Wife picked it up this morning. No problems.
 
Is it weird that one of my favourite features on the console, is the small white light to indicate that there is a disc currently in the drive? Just a nice little touch in case you forget there's already a game in there.
