Been wanting to get a higher rez version of the ending shot in The Wonderful 101 and now I have it!
ok, now the feature makes more sense. I thought they were just miiverse res.

Looks great, also making here a little comparison here with Injustice since it is drawing same scene on Gamepad and TV at the same time, game is rendered at 720p.

part of the new update, you can just hit home and upload a pic from the WiiU to any site
It's new that you can take 720p screenshots and upload them on the internet wherever you want. Until now you could take just 480p (I think) screenshots and posted them on Miiverse.

You still cannot take screenshots, either via Miiverse or the Internet Browser, for games that specifically disabled this function. For example Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.

You're confusing them with Square Enix. They hate you.
Capcom only hates MH screenshots. They let you take pics of all their other games just fine.

Them low res textures! Have to say that I picked up MH3 in the sale last week on the WiiU and really enjoying what I've played so far, it's a shame that off screen play isn't a bit more polished (can't view the map etc) so it has made me play on the TV which is fine anyway.

No, it's not a magic screenshot enforcer. The disabling of screenshot functionality is a deliberate thing from the dev side so Nintendo couldn't just circumvent that even if they wanted to. Unless you have a capture kit (or they update the games to enable it - lol), you'll never get Wii U shots of those games.

Same reason you couldn't post them to Miiverse earlier. Capcom decided to disable that functionality for their game.

The screens people are posting in this thread are better than most PR screenshots Nintendo puts out. Amazing!

Free anti-aliasing that makes Wii U games look better than they really are.
Actually the games looks much better when played on my TV than the screenshots.
And you still can see the jaggies on the screenshots if there are any ingame.
