Don't you just want to go there, to those islands in the distance? Traverse the vast ocean and go looking for unknown lands. I have my boat and the wind is at mine command. No other game in the series gives me a stronger urge to explore or has a greater sense of freedom.

Finished Rayman Legends! Amazing game, very happy with the £20 I spent on it haha. I'll playthrough some of the levels I thought looked nice and upload a few screens, but it's on to 100%ing Lego City now!

Managed to finish it in under a day too!

I found it almost jarring when I hoped ontop the boat and just started heading out ot sea the first time. I've become so used to seeing loading screens for things like this, so it caught me a bit off guard when it kept going. "Ooooh yeeeeah! This game doesn't use visual loading screens! I can actually, you know, PLAY" :^D

I keep thinking about a Zelda game that has Link traveling between worlds or dimensions, with a different art style for each one. One realm would be like WW, another like the TP HD tech demo, etc. Hell maybe even one would be 2D or top-down like ALBW, and Link would change accordingly.

And by the end of the game, the different realms would start to collapse and merge with one another, creating all kinds of surprising combinations. I wonder if it could work as a game.

I had thought of a similar thing... ocarina child/adult setup with WW style for child link and changing to TP style when you pull out the master sword

On to the photos:

I wonder what's in here....

The lighting in this game is mostly good, like here, other times objects/player are ghosts with no shadows:
