Do we have any meaningful previous experience on how current gen games sell when one (or more) next gen consoles have already launched ?
In other words, do we know from the past whether it's a good idea to ignore next gen ? The only example that comes to my mind is Kingdom Hearts 2 which was released after the 360 had launched and sold pretty well. If Wii U actually succeeds I could see it drain a lot of money out of the market.

Don't Rehire Cammie
Doomed Reggie Confirmed
If I said I'm Cammie, would your Body be Ready?
She wasn't thaaaaaaaaaaaat bad. Maybe I'm just down though, Revolution unveiling was my first E3 and everything else was just...depressing after that. I only saw shades of grey...everything sucks. Time to Persona myself
(really, will any E3 ever be that exciting again. not hyped enough for U yet, back then it just came out of nowhere)
A Wii U screen from the 4th Upad given the low quality.Well considering that's a Wii U screen shot at all I'd say yes.
your avatar is missing pink hair.
They wouldn't honestly want 60 bucks for a game that'll be one year old at that time, right guys ? Right ? Guys ?
HEY GUYS!
Just got out of a meeting. What did I miss?
*reads past two pages*
...Oh.
Cammie herself wasn't horrible (besides the fact that she knew nothing).
But her presence at E3 08 was abysmal. Mind numbing, even.
;_;
A Link to the Past
In theory she could have been great to reel in the 'expanded audience' that Nintendo was trying to hook, so it made sense to do it. But what they probably forgot was that nobody except the hardcorest of hardcore actually care about E3, and even though non-gaming publications watch the show I don't think they were too impressed either.
Best thing is still to have Miyamoto come out wearing a Link outfit and leading the show, an Oni-Iwata and Reggie wearing a suit consisting of Reggie heads. Easy E3 'win'. Where do I collect my money from Nintendo now?
;_;
A Link to the Past
No, cause now none of the colours match Link ): That's why I said it should have Pink hair ):Better?
*raises fist in solidarity*
Pink to the Last!
No, they should have gotten a real actor.
Cammie was robotic in how she moved and talked.
Add to that she couldn't even demonstrate the games without completely failing...
I just want Capcom support. I need it.

Is that a sequel to Captain Novolin?I want a cameo from Wilford Brimley. He could promote Super Brimley Universe!

Better be A Link to the Past 2's name.
Can the Wii-U run Crysis?3

The last time I've been legitimately excited for a third party game on a Nintendo console was... Resident Evil 4?
That was back in the day of third party console exclusives. That era is over. Some third party games on Wii U would be cool... I guess. I'll have PS4 and 720 (and a new PC!) regardless.

So long as the Wii U gets Resident Evil and Monster Hunter, I'll be alright with 3rd party support.

Nintendo's output on Wii U and 3DS will probably be lower than ever before. If they can't get third-parties on-board, this will probably be the first gen where they actually lose money.
Nothing so far, though there were comments on AMD Fusion (APU) seeing strong demand in the gaming channel.Nintendo's output on Wii U and 3DS will probably be lower than ever before. If they can't get third-parties on-board, this will probably be the first gen where they actually lose money.
Nothing from the AMD meeting, I assume?

In related trademark news, Namco Bandai registered Pac-Man Smash, which weve seen before, Universe Accel, and Cosmic Drive. Nintendo filed Voice Forum and Step Forum.

wtf is a Voice Forum and a Step Forum?
Seems like they are on good terms this time around, but then again that doesn't mean they'll be getting the support they want. We'll find out at E3 or possibly before depending on leaks.

I don't expect much from it, but it's their largest IR event (not counting the 2012 Annual Meeting of Stockholders) before E3, and to at least reconfirm they are developing the GPU for Wii U could be nice for both investors and customers to know.
