Are you sure? Four threads and we still haven't found what we're looking for. This isn't the Wii U2 speculation thread.

I'm not sure of anything in here anymore.
This is a question that gaming scientists have pondered for centuries. Imagine Beyond Good & Evil, for instance, being released in a week where there was nothing else coming out - instead of reality, where BG&E was released in the middle of a horribly crowded time period.
Oh, what may have been..
Non-free badges go for $795. o-o
Even if the WiiU guts were leaked here it would had been lost in the endless threads of posts.
Let's get behind a Nintendo Victim movement! Looks like we got the numbers already

Oh dear this thread... I created a monster
The podcasts would be insane.
Can I jump in at random times like I do in this thread?
Hell yes - it was after the trolls doin' their thing up in here when that rash of "on par" articles came along.. I almost forgot, like my mind was blocking it out.WHAT a Nintendo fansite run by NintendoGAF?
I´m in! I´m soooo in... I will moderate in the forums. Can translate german -> english and english -> german if ever needed!
I had a similar idea a few weeks ago, as few people in here propably know... So let´s make it happen![]()

This man needs to be The Mod. Yup Yup!
You know the point of the website would be to put all Wii U news in one place that is accessible, unbiased and sensible in its reporting, right? So it would maybe make it easier for you...
Is there any reason you couldn't have a situation where two Wii U consoles are running in the same room, connected together through online(or LAN) play? But, one console sends an image to the TV set, while the second to the tablet, that also controls the 1st console? So... in that case you have the full power of a Wii U powering each screen.
Also, the controller has a camera... so the developer could program the game to stare at the player. When he's looking at the TV set, the view on the tablet is low-quality... but when he glances down, it shifts the power to the handheld screen, while the tv set runs in 8-bit color. The player would never catch on!
Name change alert, WiiU is going to be called WiiDoomed
Oh dear this thread... I created a monster
Come on now, guys. I realise you mean well, but a NintendoGAF-run fansite is in no way going to be "unbiased and sensible", by the sheer fact that it's going to be run by a bunch of Nintendo fans.
I mean absolutely no disrespect, but such a website is not going to be unbiased; it's simply going to be biased in the other direction to a lot of the rest of the games media.
Fuck You man fuck you, How am i supposed to sleep now?
Mon fucking dieu! This is why Nintendo fans will never be taken seriously :lol

Ah, about the NintendoGAF project: You know, start a blog, post some stuff on it, and let the thing develop itself. If it isn't big enough anymore, build a nice and sleek webpage - and if things go well, expand it and cover all gaming related news.
Who put him in charge of the news? I could be much better newscaster.
I'd have a green screen and like, cars driving in the background with people walking and stuff, and it would be like, a city.
Well, if you'd have made the video, sure. But you didn't. He did.
This is why Nintendo fans will never be taken seriously :lol

Hmm. I try not to judge. But the video is kinda scary. This is why Nintendo fans will never be taken seriously :lol

If I had a webcam I'd be on it so fast.

1. maybe some people post news here because they don't want that information posted on an official site, at least not directly.
2. a fact-checking website might be a good idea, but why not just make it for all video game news and rumors and not just nintendo? making it nintendo-only makes it easy to dismiss, especially if the purpose of the site is to post 'real' version of a story, or to counterbalance perceived bias coming from elsewhere in the media. it would be taken as seriously as the chartz website.
If you're going to do a site, I propose a solution that works this forum in.
1. Create a login system that uses cURL to accept a GAF username and password, passes it to the GAF logon script, the server checks a page (such as userCp / profile) and does a quick xpath query to verify that the user was logged in okay, and thereon-in sets an auth token / cookie and allows the user to submit content to the site. No userDB needed per se... it'd be like signing in with Facebook or Google the way you can on other sites. The only way it would be insecure is if someone was able to tamper with the way our server resolves the neoGAF address, and then served the site pages as we expected them to appear... not really possible without a huge amount of effort / hacking.
2. certain usernames ARE added to a DB as these guys moderate / approve the news content so we're not bombarded with content by GAF denizens
3. Nintendo threads such as this one could be aggregated on the site, with significant posts linked directly
That video is brilliant. He's either self-aware, in which case he's a comedy genius, or he's just totally hyped himself crazy on NeoFuel and decided to start his own news cast. Either way I'm subscribing!
