But it's not like we're not getting any new info. We're just not getting any video feed because maybe the ND for Japan might be enough. I believe they're translating it for us as well.

My point of view is we live in a video consumption world now. No one wants to read a tutorial, they want to watch one. Most people would rather watch a video feed because it feels like an event no matter how small. Nintendo Direct should be live on everything that has a screen and network ability. You want to start drumming up momentum with less than 60 days to E3. Plus the more you advertise a live event like this the more users you might be able to actually get logging into your online service to watch.

It all has meaning and strategy. I work closely with marketing departments and see this everyday. Video is very important and powerful message in the world today, acknowledging and being open with your consumers is very important. The fact that NOA had to put out a press statement stating they won't have video probably means they got enough people asking about it. And if people are asking about it they probably should have a video for their consumers. Just my 2 copper

Speaking of Mario Party 9...I'm not even a big fan of Mario Party but I think the controller could be a lot of fun for minigames.

yall keep talkin about it man. u won't let up. i've seen it b4. u guys get a notion in your head, u overhype it, and then when it doesn't happen u get mad and damn Nintendo. lol

Well that's how life is sometimes. The hype is sometimes the best high a person can get and when they realize it's gone they will want more of it, leading them into the following stages of hype withdrawl.

1. Denial
2. Anger (this is the one you normally see)
3. Doesn't matter because person is banned while in stage 2
4. See stage 3
5. See stage 3

I see where you're coming from. In that case maybe they don't have that much to reveal or show compared to Europe and Japan. It's not like we're going to get Fatal Frame II :P

I see what you did there.
I like Other M, you are a bad person u_____u
:)

Oh Starfy. Why did you even come here?

Ehh shit, you know it was funny lol :D

Funny enough though, when I was at GameStop earlier today, someone did try to pre-order a Wii U. The GameStop employee claimed it was cancelled though because, "its not in the computer system anymore". :P

Well, yeah, because it was renamed to "Florfendorfer".

Still going by my prediction that we won't get anything major about the Wii U until E3.

(NN stuff doesn't count, as it concerns the 3DS too, unless it specifically says that features related to NN is Wii U only.)

Yep, this seems a little too random a time. Right before the weekend to announce something big like a name-change... Nope.

And Nintendo made a bad investment, sunk it all into crack parlours, aka arcades.
