Listening to Invisible Walls (Gametrailers) and they said a lot of people are going to be surprised with the Wii-U launch games.

Folders on 3DS menu, probably means that the Wii U menu will have that from the start, don't y'all think?

And game patches. I don't like 'em on principle, but we're pretty much guaranteed to be getting them from now on.

The amount of RAM used for the OS is "surprising". Could change with optimization.

Okay, this caught my interest. Anyone know how much RAM was used for the OS on the PS3, 360 and Wii?

I think somebody in this thread said the PS3 used less than 128MB. The Wii U dev kits are currently supposed to have ≥512MB allocated for system functions.

lol, "New Super Mario Bros 2". So NSMBW was really "New Super Mario Bros Wonannahaff". XD

And it's over, I guess.

Nintendo just announced New Super Mario Bros 2 for 3DS.
Does this affect anyone's Wii U predictions re: Mario?
EDIT: It's out in August. Wow.

NSMB 2 coming for 3DS in August

NSMB Mii coming for Wii U in October/November/December 2012

Those two games WILL sync up for cross platform play. No doubt about it. If Wii U is November, they won't have to worry about eating into each other's sales.

I was about to post exactly this.

So pissed right now. Fuck NSMB.

Now that I think of it.. if there's any syncing beyween 3DS and Wii U, I fully expect the two styles to be near-identical, with a few tweaks on the Wii U's side of things..

Google Search results say 32MB for the 360 and around 40MB for the PS3.

There are a lot of search results talking about PS3 updates shrinking the OS footprint (down from around 96MB according to one site).

PS3 started at 120MB split across the XDR and GDDR3, and I think 360 started at 64MB.
