if Nintendo were to do this, I honestly wonder if, ironically enough, they'd see more interest from Japanese third parties. They would perhaps be interested in getting in on such a communuty arrangement, recognizing that the console's customers could end-up being incredibly loyal to participating entities.
As far as percentages go, those can be tweaked. But you get the general idea.
Some more feature wishes:
- the ability to watch friends play their games live, with the ability to either do voice or uPad typingchat.
- a Nintendo Live Theatre channel, where Nsiders or Nintendo employees do live playthroughs of headliner titles with commentary (I could see third parties liking this advertising opportunity)
- Nintendo repurchases Nintendo Power, resumes
monthly publication, and makes the subscription bonus
irresistable.
