I know it will have something for everybody. I remember even in GTIV-V, there was some music that, normally, I wouldn't be caught dead listening to outside of the game, but in-game? There's something about running over cops at full speed while "Gimme more" is playing, just perfect.

Hope so, the 80s are the best in music, style, movies, and culture. Even speaking as someone that was born after it. I'll also want modern 80s theme stuff too like the sync wave music similar to Dynatron, Noir Deco Lazerhawk etc.

Remember when GTA games featured music for the atmosphere and vibe, instead of because of multimillion dollar deals with record companies?

Yeah, those days are fucking gone.
Yeah those modern days multimillion dollar deals with modern bands like, ....Tom Petty and Heaven 17 (the two only songs we know to be in the game/attempted to be).

Seriously I don't know where some of you have this idea that in a GTA game it's ONLY going to be modern stuff. Shit even in GTA Online there's stations like KULT playing stuff from Joy Division, New Order, Iggy Pop, etc.

Edit: here's the full tracklist for KULT on GTA Online...

I hope so but i doubt it due to licensing issues, just look at the songs removed from the older GTA games, but i hope custom radio is in the game unlike the remasters, i liked putting my own songs in and listening to them.

EDMIX

Writes a lot, says very little
I mean sure, it will have some oldies station so you can bet it will have 80s music

That's due to only licensing for 10 years, they've been doing longer deals now for a while, only one song was removed from GTA V for example.

Other license issues will mainly be around the big hitters and those who don't do it as often, don't expect artists like Michael Jackson, Metallica, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, etc as those are key known bands that are a nightmare to license songs from.

Yeah, hence wanting custom radio in the game and why Vice City had such good radio stations, and i wasn't referring to GTA V but the older games that i played a lot more of SP wise, i'm not expecting those songs in the game anyway.

This! The music will be fine, doesn't Sam pick most of the tracks himself? The man has good taste, let them cook.

Theyll be a radio station for oldies.

Otherwise itll be music that makes sense for the era.
Which is basically all 90s all the time. Radio is so weird today.

I am almost thinking they make you link your streaming service or make you stick with the cheap to license stuff.
