This is some pretty amazing stuff. Sharapova has really came up with some amazing shots these last few points.

Gets to a game point

Waste of a loss, should've had this one even though Kerber played steady and ran down all those balls. Very positive stats for both players actually just make me more annoyed.

Due to scheduling 3 consecutive matches over 3 days, no way would Sharapova have won her next two matches after that exhausting thriller.

That doesn't affect her - she's fitter than most, all those three setters at RG made no dent and they play plenty of consecutive days on the regular tour.

She shouldn't have given me hope with those first matches and then coming back in this.. it's better to accept that another grass slam is out of the question.

Hoping the winner of Lisicki/Halep wins the tourney. Wouldn't mind Kvitova either.

Does your opponent scream like a banshee right when you're about to hit the ball? It's very unnerving on tv, I can't imagine what it feels like when your opponent does it to you in person.

not really, unless my opponent screams at me when I'm about to hit the ball, it's more amusing actually

Sorry about Maria's loss, Peru.

Exhilirating match between Sharapova/Kerber, but watching Kerber not put it away was so nerve wracking haha. Glad she won

I am gutted. Maria played so well to save 7 (?) MPs. Dammit. Carebear was really good defensively, cant take that from here. Great chance for Genie now. Go girl.

Also, since we wont be seeing Maria anymore this week, I gotta compensate:

Dat perfection. <3

Was wondering what kind of player Kyrgios was since I'd never seen him before. After seeing his first service game I can see why he'd be a bit of a problem on grass. Hope he keeps it up.

Lisicki vs Kvitova in the final, I reckon. Depends on how bad Lisicki's shoulder is though. The amount of double faults she had would suggest that something was up, but hopefully it's nothing serious.

Nadal really wants to lose the first set so he can steamroll the next three, but Kyrgios isn't biting.
