Turns out I can't use any of the windowsphone.com features. Ringing, locating, and locking my phone doesn't work either. Must be another US-only feature... ugh.

Works for me in the UK, Three network on an unbranded HTC 7 Pro. It's just a shame I dropped it at work today...

God I'm so clumsy! It still works fine though and I have a screen protector which seems to be holding it together, does anyone know if I can replace the glass bit itself? I can't afford to replace the whole phone if not :*(

So according to Deutsche Telekom, their rollout today is only for their HTC phones, while the Samsung phone update comes in early November (wtf)
Did they say, that they will update the HTC phones today? I can't see a mention there.

You dropped your phone and cracked the screen......on MANGO DAY!!!!! I weep for you sir.

they mention that it will be released today in an earlier posting for these phones

today they write:

tl;dr
Rollout starts today, everyone will have it in the end of the week.

Make sure Locations is switched on

Hope you can get it fixed but an avatar quote is appropriate here!

Yeah, Microsoft just told me their SMS services aren't available in Australia. They then proceeded to send me a verification code for my account... via SMS. What the hell? Their lack of proper support in other countries is absolutely ridiculous, and it's not making them look good at all.

This Omnia W actually looks pretty nice IRL. If only it had the SAMOLED+ screen and more than 8GB of capacity.

It looked decent in the renders. That photo just exemplifies how ugly the.. the thing around the windows button is. It's not even a square!

How do I add my phone to windowsphone.com? I removed it in an attempt to fix the missing features, but I did it under the assumption that there was a actually way to add it again :/ It's just telling me to 'sign in with the Windows Live ID you use for your phone' and I've done so, multiple times, but whaddya know, no phone.

Try resigning in on your phone?

So, what is the word on unbranded Samsung Omnia 7 devices? As for now, t-mobile branded devices in germany will get the update in november (which is really late, wtf t-mobile!), but I have an unbranded device and should not be dependent of that, right? is microsoft providing some kind of roadmap`that I missed?

Stupid question, but are you sure you're using the same live ID you're using on the phone?

Turn it off/on again - or just turn on plane mode? :)
maybe that is sufficient.
Tried a hard reboot, synchronisation, turning off internet, etc. I even entered the password incorrectly to bring up an error so I could 'sign in' again, so to speak. Nothing has worked so far.

So I've got the choice between losing all the data on my phone (and no way to back it up, thanks Microsoft!) or permanently having no access to any of the web services. Fun! :/

Well, I only have one Windows Live account :P

Just ask support?

Seems more and more likely Canada will get the music marketplace. I'm looking at the Canadian WindowsPhone.com site and with the section listing the new features the Music mentions the Zune Pass. Would be cool if it launches with Mango.

Also, looking at the service availability it doesn't have Local Scout or Voice to Text for Canada. Hopefully if I keep my region set to US I can use these features.

The only way to add it back onto the site is to do a hard reset and go through the setup again. ^EB

Goddammit :< I could care less about the app data, but losing all my game progress and my messages is going to be harsh.

BTW, not sure if anyone noticed but the US is delivering the updates now.

They couldn't have pushed the button for EU users earlier?

They just did! Time to roll back.

Edit: I'm on the RTM and just got prompted for an HTC update... wonder if I'll get the final Mango after that? If not I'll roll back to NoDo.

All USA carrier status set to "Delivering Update" now. Sprint supposedly delivering at 1pm CST according to WPCentral. Don't dick around, AT&T!

YAY!

So tempted to update, but I'm waiting for impressions from those with LG Optimus 7 phones. Please post your impressions of how the phone runs after the Mango update.

:)

Update available: Update for Windows Phone 7 for ISV beta (7720)

guess thats the preperation update?

Omnia 7 unbranded, btw. Austria

BTW, it says its going to update me to final build (7720), not "prepare" my phone for another update, but we'll see.

I want the right update for my Focus with all the drivers, not the generic final Mango, so we'll see how this goes.

Just updated my HTC Trophy. After it finished updated, my phone still says there was an update available Zune has been on the final step saying "determining the amount of disk space required to finish this update" for 10 minutes...... ruh roh
