VanMardigan said:Yep, it was a two-stage update from the Beta 2. It installed the first update (a rollback I assume, though its not clear) and now I'm downloading the 2nd update. This one says Samsung update for Windows Phone, so it'll be the right one with the nice drivers and the Samsung-specific ability to disable the capacitive buttons during gaming etc.
Depends if you had the Beta or not.Nero3000 said:I can't update till i get home.
Is the update process now quicker?

I like my phone, but only as a friend. I don't think I want a relationship with it.derFeef said:It's dating you!

Tango comes before Apollo.VanMardigan said:Should've gone/stayed on the beta.
Seriously, though, its refreshing to see MS learn so much so quickly. They had a beta period (which was easy to get into so the early adopter whiners could get on it), then they found a way to get those folks the final version of Mango. This is how you keep the vocal minority, the first movers who influence other buyers, happy.
Can't wait for the Apollo beta.

WiFI hotspot on T-Mobile?! How? Post video please. Even if T-mobile doesn't get the iPhone I can finally dump AT&T. Has any AWS Mango handset been announced yet?Brettison said:Anyone notice any little differences between this and the RTM we were all already using? I mean beyond visual voice and wifi hotspot.
They didn't fix it because they said this was a design choice. No clue why since i liked the old way to.derFeef said:i can't believe they have not fixed the lockscreen info fade-in issue.
A weird design choice.. the time of the fade-in is different every time even. It just feels sloppy.hwalker84 said:They didn't fix it because they said this was a design choice. No clue why since i liked the old way to.
