Not sure if I should be posting this here, but... I'm selling my HTC Trophy, thought I'd post here before I put it up on Ebay/CL. I bought it in July, perfect condition, with original box, $200 obo

Sprint's conference is tomorrow.

Somehow, I doubt it will be about phones aside perhaps the iPhone.

What is your replacement phone?

What is your replacement phone?

Either going back to Android or Apple. I like the new update, but for the work I do, I need a new phone.

To be honest the samsung focus is pretty underwhelming and a year old. WM NEEDS to have a killer phone to really show case the platform. And when I say Killer I mean something that can stand up to the iphone, Galaxy S2, etc. I was checkin out the Nokia article, is it a given that the "Ace" is going to be carrying that flag?

I heard a rumor that the Nokia Windows Phone was going to be called KILLER.

Not really. Wish it actually lived up to the name though.

You asked about phones that are out right now, I mentioned them. Before the Nokia deal, Microsoft had an iPhone strategy, when it came to hardware. New devices once a year with a major software release.

So which of the phones has the Mango Internet tethering feature been enabled on? Any T-mobile phones on the list? Should I just get a Dell venue pro?

It should be in all of the new ones, so the HTC Radar on T-Mobile should have it.

also, is there a list of voice commands for windows phone? i'm going to try to convert some coworkers waiting on the 4S with Siri.

You can get a list on the phone itself.... click the ? when hitting the windows button to bring up the speech thing.

´Hold the windows button, say help. It will list all the commands.

ok. MS just forced me to change my Live ID (some sort of conflict) so now all of my info is still linked to my NEW live and xbox and zune account (including apps etc) but windows phone no longer connects due to invalid live ID.

is Restoring phone still only way to change main Windows live id?

man I'm gonna be pissed if it erases my custom themes that I did when unlocked

Edit: yep... all my oprecious custom colors...gone forever (until mango registry unlock is found)

Edit2: reinstalling apps from windows Live on PC makes it a little easier

Might as well just start a massive conference call with gaffers.

Has anyone else noticed that voice to text puts spaces between contractions? Eg, mustn ' t instead of mustn't
Just tested and had no issues.

All contractions or just the one you specified?

So I decided to purchase my first Android. WP is an excellent platform, but the reason I'm moving is because I grew tired of Metro and apps look and perform better on iPhone and Android. Dunno, I guess I'm more into graphics and buttons than just text and tables.

Will keep my WP without SIM for xbox live, etc.

The iPhone I can understand, but you're moving to Android for the UI? I find that hard to believe. The interface inconsistency is staggering and in no way do apps perform better than their iPhone/WP7 counterparts.

Thinking of getting a Windows Phone. Can you stream videos from the phone to your Xbox 360?
Ones you downloaded? No I dont think so.

Microsoft is going to release an official companion app that lets you select videos and use your WP7 as a remote for the 360

No phones were announced yesterday at the Sprint conference.

Hope Nokia pulls through although Nokia in the past did not make CDMA phones.

Forcing this update is such a pain in the ass, but I don't want to wait more weeks in order for this phone to recieve the update that will make it worth a damn.

Octiber 26 is it.

But I wouldn't expect much for the US this year.
That's OK. I'm in the minority here in regard to upgrading a phone every year. I don't do that.

My current phone is four years old, and I'm the second owner.

its niiiiiice.

Metro madness.

I went to my local AT&T store. I really found the HTC HD7S to be really nice compared to Galaxy S2? Which one is better.

Our friends want their extra cell phone back so I need to get one today or tomorrow.

Thanks for the help guys. :)

When I try the disconnect trick, it just says that there's an error with my connection and to try again -_-

I've got a dev account, so why am I not prioritised for receiving the update? This is ridiculous

You're really asking WP7 vs. Android.

Go with what you like. You're asking a cell phone recommendation in a WP7 thread.
