Looks so damn sexy but I want a 4+ inch screen now. Hopefully the Ace is a real device.

Not much point having a 4 inch Windows Phone until they revise the screen resolution options, I guess this time next year is when we'll see that.

You can forget about higher resolutions on a 4" device if Microsoft targets 1280x720.

My Omnia has a 4" screen. What's the problem?

I'm so sick of people using 'in the cloud' as an excuse for the lack of storage in Windows Phones. I hear it all the damn time. No thanks, I most certainly do not want to waste hours uploading my tv shows and then blow my bandwidth cap when I want to watch them.

My screen is glorious on my Omnia 7. I don't see none of that blocky things you guys talk about :) I don't look for it either...

edit:
Seen as though we are talking phones, what I want from my next (but guessing it's not going to be delivered)

4.7+ inch screen.
32gb+ storage space.
Thin.
8MP+ camera...

(The droid rzr is the closest thing to this. Just need a bigger screen and wp7.5 OS )

a lot of the hype around the 800/Sea Ray is kind of lost when it looks exactly like the N9.....i'm struggling to see why Nokia even bothered with it when its a dead platform. Considering how unique the hardware design is, the launch of their WP7 devices would have been a bit more exciting if the 800 unveiled before the N9

480 x 800 seems a bit low for a 4" screen to me but if you guys are all happy with it then I stand corrected

It's fine on the focus (4 inch samoled).... I can't see pixels unless I put my eye about an inch from the screen.

supposedly the n9 was done before the windows phone deal was announced.... they already had this design that was easy to modify to turn into their first wp7 device (would make sense too in that people already have the n9 but they haven't even "officially" announced the searay yet)

the galaxy s2 screen is as big as 4.5", only 800x480 res, and considered the best screen on the market.

Super amoled plus would be enough for me. I use green tiles on my Focus (thanks Milly!) simply because there are more green pixels. You can definitely tell the difference between the tiles that are other colors with the pentile.

I really think addition resolution is wasted unless you hold your phone closer. That said, it's one more feature that windows phone must match regardless of its importance.

Titan has all that except the storage space I believe.

I want the Windows Phone equivalent to the Samsung Epic, basically. I need a physical keyboard and 4+" of screen real estate. Together. All soft keyboards suck in comparison to physical, and I don't wear jeggings so as long as it's not as thick as a Touch Pro 2 with Extended Battery (The only device config I ever had a problem putting into a pocket of fitted jeans) I'm fine.

I currently have a Dell Venue Pro, and although portrait slider is nice, a landscape would be even better. A tilting landscape, to eliminate need for a kickstand, would be optimal.

I just signed up to go to the Nov. 10th event in Baltimore. Never done anything like this before though, anyone have some insight on what to expect?

It's no iPhone but I knew that when I bought it

480x800 on a 4" screen looks great

there are 2 kinds of parties. i've been to a few during E3s.

one is a cocktail party which are held as after parties after events around the country like GDGT event in LA and the Radar launch party in SF. i'm sure these will be filled with people who worked the event and they're just looking to unwind with a cocktail.

the other events are concerts. i'm sure these are much more fun with demos of phones, probably kinects, prize giveaways, and of course the concert. i'm sure press will be invited, you may be asked to give your impressions on products (nothing is free).

Thanks. I'm okay with socializing in order to get some free stuff. Sounds like it should be fun.

great specs. nothing impressive about the design though.

If that is real you can't really tell much about the design w/o seeing the other shots.... it could be a very thin phone and be metal which would make it look and feel much nicer. The one thing I don't like about that render is there is too much of a bezel still.

Given that elop was saying in earning calls that the N9 design is the basis for Nokia going forwards I doubt the Ace looks like that. Kind of doubt it's a fake flyer just because who would bother faking Windows Phone flyers? Probably just place holder art work.

Ugh, I hate it when manufacturers wait til HTC or someone does an innovative design instead of trying original stuff out themselves. That phone looks boring.
It's boring, but it is reminiscent of older nokia designs, phones I used to sell back in the day. I wish it looked nicer, but it does look nostalgic.

I'll say these pics seem 50% legit.
