hey Brot, you don't want to make a new thread for Windows Phone 7 Mango Beta?
I'm sure others can do a better job.

but every nokia app will be available for every other device.
Eventually, yes. But some of them will be time exclusive for Nokia phones and I'm sure that some others will cost money, when they're free on Nokia devices.

OK so one cannot edit an already created playlist? and how do you change the category of a song?
There's no playlist editor on the phone, but you can play an existing playlist, add
or remove songs and save the playlist under the same name. Playlists will be synced with the Zune software on your PC, where you can go all crazy with your editing.
First of all, there are requirements for a custom ringtone. You can't just use any song you want.
- 39 seconds or shorter
- smaller than 1 megabyte (MB)
- saved in MP3 or WMA format
- not copy-protected (i.e. DRM free)
To change the category, you have to open the Zune software on the PC, right-click on the ringtone, click on edit and then change the genre to "ringtone". Sync the song with your phone and it will show up as custom ringtone in your ringtone settings.

is everybody here a developer or what. why is everyone using mango already.
This is NeoGAF, Earl. Everyone here is a developer. How else do you think we could judge the technical aspects of games so accurately?

Has there been any word about them better supporting physical keyboards? Does anybody with the... Sprint one, whatever... tried Mango yet?
More native applications work in landscape now. Bing, the marketplace, the calendar (not sure if this one worked before)

without having done further research, will i be able to switch to regular mango when it comes out?
A backup will be created and you need to install this backup through Zune, when Mango comes out. So it's very important to backup this backup in a vault or something, or you're screwed. Not that I did that. :lol
