The bans are lifted now...a day early. I think the points were made, but just in case:
1) Don't ask for PMs in a thread. This rule has been around for a while, will be codified in the next TOS revision (coming soon!), and is enforced by pretty much every mod when he/she sees it. (In fact, another mod was about to pull the trigger on this thread...but saw that I had beaten him by about two minutes.) You could, like, you know, send a PM directly to the person with the info you want.
2) Don't call for another user to be banned. If someone makes a statement which is offensive or trollish, call them out for it. The mods will take note and issue a ban if it's warranted, but we don't need help in making that decision.
3) If you have a problem with the moderation of this board, send a PM to the mod in question and discuss things, or send an email to staff@ga-forum.com with a complaint. Reading about our power-tripping, egomaniacal, vengeful selves in threads gets really irritating.
