I marathoned Code Geass and Evangelion back to back a few weeks ago, so i've been taking a complete break from marathons.

It took me a while to watch CCS.
I think I started in the first winter thread after I joined.
Takes me forever to finish anything IF I finish it.

I did manage to marathon things like Haibane Renmei, Saikano, Last Exile, ScrappeD Princess, Chrono Crusade, Angelic Layer, Speed Grapher
Most shows I watch a little at a time, and it used to be a volume release at a time ;_;

Hot damn how is your brain still working!?

After marathoning the whole of Evangelion in a single day I straight up burnt out completely, not doing that again for a while.

If I really like the series I try to pace myself unless it's really addictive.

This show... is actually getting pretty good. As many visual shortcuts were taken in this ep, as were in the last ep, but there's a surprising amount of genuinely stylish story-boarding in here that works to make up for it. The pace at which they're dishing out plot points is blazing, but coherent, and the cast remains fun.

A 26 episode internet series, what an odd way to air.

I think I enjoyed Evangelion a lot more marathoning it than if I hadn't. As for Code Geass, I just couldn't stop watching it, it was so entertaining.

My brain never worked correctly in the first place.
The closest a show got to defeating me the first time I saw it was School Days.
That was a pretty interesting reaction.

Lupin III 2

I'm starting to think Lupin isn't a thief at all. Still this episode did a decent job at telling us some important facts about the characters, such as; Jigen is a crackshot with his 100 shooter magnum (combat), Lupin is afraid of cephalopods, Fujiko has boobs.

Lupin will be stealing plenty of things soon enough.

This is starting to become a theme.

And this will disappear soon enough as well.

Master Keaton 9-11

First Infinite Stratos and now this (well, I guess the other way around)? Is there some stereotype in Japan that British people can't cook?

A game of train chicken sounds like one of the worst ideas possible. Kids are so stupid.

Episode just reconfirmed that
Tanigawa is a b-tier fluff character. Also, treating Tetsuro like shit didn't win her any points either!

I've got a extremely mixed family and friendship circle, so I don't really eat set dishes from any particular country.

Multiculturalism has had a pretty big impact in my area when it comes to food.

The Light of El Cantare
Steak and kidney pie.

British cuisine would look more delicious if it wasn't for all of the organ meats. My stunted midwestern American palate can't handle it.

Any decently-sized city in America will have no shortage of Mexican, French and Italian restaurants, but how many British restaurants are there? I mean yes, things like fish and chips are popular here, but how often do you see a "gourmet" British restaurant? That doesn't mean British food is bad, necessarily, but it certainly doesn't have the kind of culinary popularity that those countries have.

Yeah, we don't have anything particularly exciting as a national dish or anything, although we do seem to have stolen curry from India (although to be fair many of our curries are not really Indian).

I just assume most Britons largely live off tea and Jaffa Cakes.

Only the kind that hangs around on forums like GAF
yes this includes me the smashing orangey bit in Jaffa Cakes is like mana from heaven
