Death Devil? Really? The old Light Music Club didn't even try coming up with an interesting name, did they?

It's just so goddamn generic and uninspired though. I'm well aware of bands such as Dying Fetus and whatnot (though I don't listen to them), but at least they went with a completely psychotic WTF name instead of just saying, "Fuck it." Though I guess naming your band Dying Fetus is kinda saying "Fuck it" in it's own way.
The second name from a real band sounds worse. Who wants to hear music from a dying fetus? Rather hear music from the Death Devil. On the other hand, have you heard the music from his brother the Life Devil? Not that great.

If this is still the true rankings I am now a discarded piece of trash.

Sure if you only count the second half of season 2, otherwise season one is better in every way.
I suppose season 1 has the more epic plot, but it got dumber and dumber towards the end (my sulphur example from earlier,
gold
being the strongest element). And like I said, season 2 = more Hana and you really can't compete with that.

Well i shouldn't but this is just too funny...

A Safe For Work link for those who completed SAO and watched yuru yuri

Have a nice day #ANIMEGAF !!
Blasphemy.

Well its more of a guilty pleasure sort of anime than a top 10 candidate.
Shameful.

So... I have this Crunchyroll membership and I figure I may as well put it to good use for a couple of months.

Naruto and Bleach seem to be pretty popular on there, and they both seem interesting.

Are they worth a watch?

I am also open to suggestions on anything else that's on Crunchyroll that's worth a watch. :)
Since everyone was too cheeky to do it, I'm recommending Mitsudomoe.

I never thought there would be an even cheaper-looking anime made. Lo and behold, Inferno Cop.
Where does Double J rank on this scale?

this, please edit before more of us who aren't current with the show get something ruined.
It's funny because he never did go back and edit it.

I was flicking through the upcoming iM@S merchandise (as I tend to do - god, so many Puchimasu CDs!), and apparently they're doing another one of those manga/cover CD bundles in March. This time they're covering the OPs/EDs from Kannagi and, of all things, the first season of YuruYuri.
So this is the cast of iM@AS singing the OP and ED of YuruYuri S1?

Btw. Bonus eps of Oreimo worth watching? I finished the series when
Kirino left.
Kyosuke and Kuroneko get it on right?
Well they introduce the best girl in the bonus episodes.

The Snowman never bothered me.
Probably because I despise it.
That spoiler is blasphemy.

Haha, yeah. Sawa-chan-sensei is pretty crazy when she can be herself. It's a shame she's not all that popular. Where are my Sawako figures?
More importantly, where are my Jun figures?
At least you got figures. Mitsudomoe got squat.

Because porn.

I mean because of the pretty pictures.
I read them for the bowling stories.

So all doujin are pretty much porn.
No. Stop having such filthy thoughts you cheeky chap.

"Wah! What are we gonna do on the bed, oniichan?"
"The same thing we do every night, Pinky; try to take over the world!"

OT4 isn't going to happen. This level of activity just isn't sustainable. Animegaf will run out of porn, eventually.
Like a 3DS one can switch from 2D to 3D at the flick of the switch so it will never run dry.

It is amazing that animeGAF actually somehow gets dirtier when new people post. I'm gonna assume fatalpulse is some kind of trashy gore porn doujin I was better off never knowing about in the first place.
This reminds me that my first post here was cheekily about a random hentai I just happened to watch for a laugh.

You know you like it.

Speaking of Tamako Market, when will KyoAni ever break out from the highschool girl genre? They clearly can do more wonderful things in other genres given by their talents and also when will we ever see a animated kiss scene from them? I've never seen any kiss scene from every KyoAni show I watch.
Wasn't a kiss extremely important in one of their more popular shows, which implies you've never seen said popular show.

Are we talking literally or figuratively?
Don't be cheeky to poor Akari.

OT4 will definitely happen. Come on people.
No it won't. It will either take eight threads or we keep counting backwards.

It's only natural for people to have different favorites. I just wish there wasn't so much Chinatsu hate.
Don't worry, she's one of my favourites.

And to finish, nice to see more people checking out YuruYuri. Shame I can't do the same with Mitsudomoe. Maybe Astro Fighter Sunred will be an easier job.

This episode looked really good and there was no action whatsoever in it. Great stuff.

Watership Down is compulsory viewing for all British children. Scarred for life my arse.

Then again out classic Christmas movie in The Snowman which has a real downer ending compared to the stuff Hollywood churns out. Bunch of softies.

Watership Down is the worst, and I ended up catching it last night, just as some bunnies were buried alive.

Speaking of the Snowman don't forget there's also When the Wind Blows

Sounds like something a bitter Shaft fan would say after being beaten season after season but still going back home for more! Lol.

Bah whatever.

Anyway to continue our discussion from that other place before I get told off for going off topic, what chance do you think of Magi continuing after this season? Silver Spoon seems the only real legit title that could take over the slot...

Except it is.

It's actually the perfect definition of a slice-of-life show.

I don't know man. It contains everyday experiences like going to school, library, or your afterschool club. They even have culture festivals, a pool episode, and traditional housing in which people (the main cast) sits down to eat snacks at and talk about said clubs and said culture festival.

Wouldn't blame you.

So I guess I'm the only one who chose to rewatch it as a child.

You know, I don't think I've seen that. May have to check it out.

I think I did rewatch it as a child, just to see if there was more to it than the snare scene which was what stuck out. Turned out there was.

I ended up catching When the Wind Blows when I was reasonably young as well, during one of Channel 4's Animation nights with Adam and Joe I believe. It was quite shocking then, even more so when I suddenly thought about it years later and found out it was buy The Snowman guy.

Lol. Speaking of going off topic, I remember once when I posted the full staff list for Nerawareta Gakuen, and the thread got derailed into a "Is Madhouse dead?!" discussion for an entire page. Good times! The poor mod had to move all the derailed posts into the existing "Is Madhouse dead?!" thread in General Discussions. Lololol.

I honestly dunno what's going on with Magi. It's pretty weird to have 10 volumes of DVD/BD to begin with, when a series is 24-26 episodes. We also have no idea how the series is actually going to sell, and it was definitely at least initially planned as a 2-cour show. I think it will probably be replaced in Spring, but by what... who knows.

At this point, the Christmas Cakes are probably sitting in the corners of houses everywhere, not being eaten.

Every single episode has a plot. A problem is presented that needs to be solved, and the characters actively work towards this goal. The notion that the term "slice of life" can be applied to any story that takes place within the confines of the world as we know it is absurd.

I guess no anime is slice of life then.

Well those were the days I had a small selection of films and of course films were rather rare of television so that's why I watched it a few times. Funny thing is my mother detests violence in films but this obviously passed her filter. I don't think I ever really thought anything of it since I was so young. I probably should rewatch it one of these days.

I remember teaching someone about Christmas Cakes. They loved the term.

There is a story of an android girl running a small coffee shop in the middle of nowhere in a world of the eve of humanity.

It is considered slice of life.

What is it?

A coffee-shop artificial-life character drama obviously.

I remember teaching someone about Christmas Cakes. They loved the term.

I forgot how I even came to know what one was, just that I did one day.

A story in any place can be slice of life. I was simply stating that a more realistic depiction of the world should not prompt people to brandish the term around.

Precisely. Well, precisely excusing the typo. No indication as to which iM@S characters are on the CD, though. Probably whichever ones are most gay, I guess.
Ha ha, that's the first time I've done that typo. So bets will be Haruka and Chihaya then?

Depends. Is she moé?

Lucky star explains it does it not?

It's been years since i've last watched Lucky Star. Maybe a rewatch is in order.

I'll admit I was one of those people who dropped it after the first infamous episode. But this was 2006ish right so I hardly watched anime at all and it was only because it was a thing that that chan were going on about that I got curious.

Years later when I could say I had an active interest in anime I sat down and watched the whole show to find that it did indeed improve after that bloke got the boot.

Thank all those MADs I watched for making me see the light.

I wish this were true...

Seraphis Cain

bad gameplay lol
Why? It's not particularly salacious.

I don't know...I'm probably over-thinking it. Something just felt weird about being nearly 30 and watching an anime about middle school girls. Add the (admittedly very mild) yuri element into it and...ehh. Maybe it's less about the anime itself and more me just being aware that I'm getting older.

So yeah, I dunno. Stuff.

Adults watch South Park and that's about even younger children. It's just a setting. I mean the author is in his 20s so you can view it as appreciating the work of a similar aged peer.

OT4 will definitely happen. Come on people.

People seem to forget for a brief period this was OT4. We achieved the dream.

Looks like this month's Newtype is confirming that the anime for the second Monogatari season set of novels will be starting in July.

2 cour? Awesome.

And it looks like you're already celebrating Christmas before it is cool...

I'm too lazy to revert back :(
