Nice transition episode that starts off the final arc. Sad to think Bakuman will be done for good but after the manga ending I dunno if the anime ending is gonna be any better.

I will openly admit that I am somewhat of a heretic when I say that I prefer the TV series version of events to the manga. Most people will say that the manga version is the one to experience, but I really prefer the pacing in the TV series.

I know this is sacrilege but I actually prefer the design of Griffith in the series to his incarnation in the manga.

I guess one of the four posters still watching this, but the episode really felt like an expansion to one of those types of stories in the little arcade thingys at like Chuck e Cheeses and what not. Ignoring the out of adventure stuff there, I kind of liked the episode quite a bit, better than a few of the other ones.

Yeah I agree. I don't know your tastes, but you may like Johannsson (check out Fordlandia and IBM 1401 - also read up on them as the albums have very interesting ideas behind them). Everyone like Richter. Blue Notebooks and 24 postcards are my favorite. He recently recomposed Vivaldi's Four Seasons and gave it a more cinematic feel (while still retaining a full orchestra). Anyways I've had almost a bottle of wine, so I'm babbling...

Hahaha this was so unbelievably dumb. I wanted to strangle Misaki Mei during that ending.

Mizushima just can't help himself; whatever he directs ends up turning into a comedy. To be quite fair, he really had no choice with the script he was given here; this may be one of the dumbest mystery/horror series of all time. I love how everyone just goes completely nuts by the end for no reason besides drama. And there's no other way to interpret the protagonist except as an emotionless sociopath. I mean he

On the plus side, it has better art direction than most P.A. Works shows, and the ED is nice. But it's only worth watching if you like really, really stupid horror shows and Final Destination death scenes.

Another was the best comedy of 2012.

Man, The Biggest Dreamers is such an awesome opening.

I didn't have cable TV when Digimon Tamers aired in Brazil, so I would lend a VHS tape to a friend, and the next day I would get this tape and give her another one.
I should rewatch this someday. So many memories. T___T

Because it's in the game. When the stage start if you press L+R, you start Mortal Combat, faster and stronger but you can get one-shoted pretty easily.

Ayakashi Japanese Classic Horror - Episode 9-11 (Bakeneko Arc)

I'm pretty late with my backlog season, but at least I've finally started! This was pretty good. There's solid atmosphere and pacing, with a lot of the human interactions and movements staged almost like a Kabuki play. The story is pretty much what is expected in terms of classic Asian horror, and I liked how the story was mostly told by what is implied rather than what is spoken. The action at the end was kinda weird though. Not really sure what to think of that. Visually it's pretty interesting too, but I didn't really like everything it did. Some of the filters and the low-motion CG props felt kinda odd.

Next up: The Mononoke TV series.

Thankfully back to the planet Cray and new occurences mean, new cards and clans. I like the Gold Paladin ideas going on and the new cards are really good, for example like Knight of Elegant Skills Gareth. The new kid is cool but still nameless, hopefully explored more. I wonder if Ren Suzugamori and even Toshiki Kai got new decks for this arc as well. Maybe Kamui Katsuragi too. Off to a good start.

I would choose to stay on namek with green bug people then, the ussop fight alone in the tv was better then all the fights in the tv special.

I thought episode nami was great but not as good as the tv due to time constraints so they where forced to cut and rushed some stuff.
