Dammit Cincy. =/ The best we have here is like, the really small Japanese shelf at Walmart. And all that really entails is stuff like panko, curry mix, and Pocky. Just the really common stuff.

There used to be a really small Japanese restaurant here, but the owners retired and moved to Texas and it turned into a generic "Americana" diner. Damn shame, their curry was great.

Starting off this is a pretty production, especially with regards to its backgrounds, the train scenes at the start were the most impressive for me.
I don't really want to comment too much about the story itself spoilers and all but I will say it was fairly well done if not sad which is kind of weird literally no-one wins in this movie but perhaps that is the point. Very :firehawk. I was sort of spoiled to that fact though so I kinda knew what was coming though it didn't make it any less sad. Music was also quite well done as well. A fairly solid film overall if not a notch short.

Oh I like this. Definitely adding this to my watch list. Need to finish Joshiraku first though. Can't have too many things going at once. Once I finish that though, I'm definitely coming back to this. The animation is nice, it's funny, and it doesn't seem like it's going to be nearly as harem-y as I feared it might be (if at all). Plus Mao is totally a Taiga. :lol

Yeah I saw that.
I can get either this or stuff from a bakery. The bakery stuff is more of a gooey mess but it tastes better. They like to put peanuts in there though which I dont like. There is also coconut in it.

Are you sure that's mochi, or the Chinese version of mochi whose name I can't conjure up at the moment. The Chinese version is peanut brittle, coconut flakes and sesame seeds.

That said, it's also fresh, so it'll taste better without all the preservatives and whatnot in the packaged version.

Oh yeah, since I was dealing with this for unrelated reasons, if you are watching Wandering Son/Hourou Musuko, please do not watch episode "10+11" on Crunchyroll. Try to watch the original episodes as intended. I know people here are at that point now, but I feel like it's worth saying again just in case.

Probably was in this case. It definitely wasnt japanese on the label.

Yeah, the fact that the fanbase is wide also attributes to it. It did end up airing on Disney Channel Japan

I suppose it could be seen as good publicity stunt by Bandai amongst the otaku crowd. Still, you gotta think they'd have some confidence in the show its self to try something like this.

Saying that there was that one Ouran Highschool Host Club complete for £10 deal when I went to check their carcass once, but on a whole the pricing in general doesn't reflect that they went into administration.

The animation is like that because they don't have much else to animate.. ( same room , same outflits for 2/3 of the show and so on.)

As interesting it was in its whole ECONOMICS going on, it was really hurt by me not knowing who half these people were they were flashing back and forth between. The show really didn't bother building the world and even though I have a vague understand of it, it hurts my enjoyment when the show's plot moves and I can't follow.

Also disappointed that after last episode's preview, barely any time was spent on it.

The whole Nagisa turning into a babbling idiot whenever she talked to him was so annoying and a major turn off. Should've got with one of the girls that wrote her those love letters. :(

That's because I'm not you. I'm not super into sexy nurses. Nothing wrong with them, it's just it's not something I go around drawing much.

Lol. I figured that show would drive you crazy. Especially with Nagisa and Honoka holding hands all the time. It could have been beautiful. But it was not to be.
