Well, the endings of FMA and DtB are certainly a mess, but I still enjoy the parts before that a considerable amount more than Star Driver, with its painfully dull and repetitive formula that lacks all tension, good animation aside.

So uhh, what's so special about this show? Hell it introduced the harem faster than SAO did. Action scenes were nice, I'll give it that, but the overall feel is still bland imo. Oh yeah and incest, that's always fun... not. And I always love Gary Stu shows.

Objectively speaking, SAO had a way better opening episode than Mahouka atm.
I now have the urge to murder everyone associated with this production now.

I guess it depends on what you consider a harem. If you consider a cast which is disproportionately female a harem, then it's a harem.

Rowdy Sumo Wrestler Matsutaro 1
I'm having no confident that this can ever turn good. The first episode featured no sumo wrestling or anything involving sports and it was a disaster of dumb jokes and awful scenarios. Who knows how much worse it will get when it becomes more focused on the sport aspects. Will Matsutarou develop as a character and gains more depth as the episodes go on? Who knows, but I'm certainly not interested in finding out.
This was pretty bad. It got a different art style and feeling to it and the animations tried their best to help with the comedy, but really the entire episode was a chore to go through. The jokes are stupid and unfunny and Matsutarou is an likeable dick that made it hard for me to give a shit about him.

Captain Earth Ep. 1
As someone who doesn't really have any sort of attachment to Eureka Seven or Star Driver (or most Bones shows for that matter), I enjoyed it. There's only so many ways to differentiate your "young boy stumbles upon powerful Mech to defend his world" story from sooooooooo many others out there but for what it was, it was alright. Definitely one of the best animated launch sequences I've seen in a long time. Mech designs are really solid so far too.
Will keep watching for delicious mech action.

The random fight scene was well animated as well. I've made worse life decisions this week.
As someone who doesn't really have any sort of attachment to Eureka Seven or Star Driver (or most Bones shows for that matter), I enjoyed it. Irregular at Magic School 1
Having actually finished this episode now my thoughts are
1. So much incest sexual tension I'm drowning in it
2. The fight choreography was pretty good
3. The ed/op? that they showed at the end was pretty hype
4. The characters are dumb and we already have a harem introduced
5. Main character is a massive Gary Stu
6. I'll probably keep watching because while this was dumb/bad it at least has the promise of more action then SAO ever did, and if it's a massive train wreck like SAO was I'm down for that as well

black hair with red eyes is nice.
There are a ton of cuties in this show including that one who looks like Misaki in Angelic Layer and a not-Yayoi. Overall its ok...Ill watch more.

This post has nothing to do with Shiho, but I wanted to include it.
Though it's only been one year in show time, it was four to five years in real time before this season was made. I can see a lot of signs of that. The colors are more vibrant, the characters have more frames of motion and instead of Multi being in two episodes, the entire thing's about Multi. I'm not so sure about the new character designs (Akari's eyes seem off), and the animation isn't stellar, but it feels fresh and, since it still involves characters I've grown familiar with, I'm not going to let it bother me too much.
The Multi amnesia subplot may not be the best idea (not to mention the forthcoming love triangle between her and Akari? Will they go that route?), but the amount of cuteness Yui Horie's getting to do is making it worth it. It makes me feel... mop.

Theirs no incest just a running gag, and the brother loves her as a sister. Oh yeah the beginning of the first arc is an introductory so it gets better later on.
Glad somebody pays attention to things that I hate.

The new OP Perfect Hero, sounded pretty good, the repeated part close to end of it was really best part of it. The new ED in its colouring style was great too. Didnt catch who is singing it but its a nice song.
Yeung for antagonist is good at this arc to give them their first block. I wonder if and how they will surpass it (havent read ahead or reread the chps its covering this episode).

Kuromochi trying to take him on twice and losing was insanely aggravating hopefully the third time, and then Furuya just not getting through.

At long last we have a game that matters and it is mostly entertaining to watch though I will say I am not buying the domination that Yeung is bringing here; mainly due to the fact that they forgot to give anybody else on the team the slightest hint of character and thus it comes across as a tad contrived.
