Great analysis wired, I'm sure McDonald's problems have nothing to do with supply chains, logistics, human resources, external market dynamics, service quality or anything like that. They just need a better fucking app. Glad wired is here to clear that up

Their food is shit, they're not the cheapest, and they are not healthy.

In Chicago there's always a HUGE number of patrons at the various downtown locations during all times of the day. Ppl still love that shitty food including myself and apparently others in this thread.

Millennials like to accomplish tasks with limited person to person interaction. It's advisable to remove the human interaction altogether.

Fast food restaurants tried self ordering kiosks many years ago and their test groups showed older people wouldnt use them. I guess theyre dead now either from old age or from eating at McDonalds so bring on the robots.

Even then I fear Id get the wrong order.
