Its only…remotely a hybridI don't consider that a full Hybrid..
onQ123 thread, surely.
In essence every PS5 game is now a hybrid game that's played on your home console or your handheld Portal.I don't consider that a full Hybrid..
Does it have good battery life, and can I use it outside far away from the system, like a camping ground? In essence every PS5 game is now a hybrid game that's played on your home console or your handheld Portal.
None of that matters to the people making the games it will be playable on console or a handheld.Don't you have to buy Portal separately? The whole point "hybrid" one system can function both as handheld and console without needing to buy two separate systems.
From what can understand Portal is not actually running the game it just streaming from PS5, am I right?None of that matters to the people making the games it will be playable on console or a handheld.
Yes you can if you have your phone to use as a hotspot, you also can keep it powered by USB-C power packsDoes it have good battery life, and can I use it outside far away from the system, like a camping ground?
Don't forget you can use that phone to call home and ask someone to change the disc if you only buy physical games. lolYes you can if you have your phone to use as a hotspot, you also can keep it powered by USB-C power packs
No one said the game was actually running on the Portal. From what can understand Portal is not actually running the game it just streaming from PS5, am I right?
That's no different than remote play on PSVita.
Lol lucky over 60% of PS5 games are being sold digitally nowadays.Don't forget you can use that phone to call home and ask someone to change the disc if you only buy physical games. lol
Also consider bringing your mom camping with you so she can cook you some home made food.Lol lucky over 60% of PS5 games are being sold digitally nowadays.
Isn't this what Xbox has been doing forever with cloud gaming? No one said the game was actually running on the Portal.
Dont forget PC and Steam deck. Maybe Phil was wrong, everything is a PS5, not an xbox.In essence every PS5 game is now a hybrid game that's played on your home console or your handheld Portal.
My point is this not actually "hybrid", portal just streams games from PS5 like remote play on PSvita. No one said the game was actually running on the Portal.
No one truly considers the Portal a hybridMy point is this not actually "hybrid", portal just streams games from PS5 like remote play on PSvita.
Switch is considered "hybrid" because it is both console and handheld in one package without needing to buy separate system.
No one truly considers the Portal a hybrid
Remote Play has been around a very long time and thats all the Portal is a glorified dedicated Remote Play device
No one truly considers the Portal a hybrid
My point is this not actually "hybrid", portal just streams games from PS5 like remote play on PSvita.
Switch is considered "hybrid" because it is both console and handheld in one package without needing to buy separate system.
How big of an blackout? Because if it's just your block & the Internet on your phone is still working you can actually play games on Portal ( with a subscription)Also one of big advantage of actual hybrid is you can play games even on blackout.
While Portal can't function without internet.
See what I'm getting here, this not hybrid….not only I have to buy separate system but also can't function without internet. How big of a blackout? Because if it's just your block & the Internet on your phone is still working you can actually play games on Portal ( with a subscription)
I'd like to be able to watch YouTube, or a movie in bed.
Sony is so weird. Their tech is baller as F to me but then they hamstring it. PSVR2 is completely useless outside of VR games and the Portal is the same with flat games. Doesn't make sense why they don't have some kind of VR UI or app/movie capability with the Portal.
