It's annoying me that I can't place the guy far right. I totally recognise the face but can't put a name to it!

Did you like Sherlock? I feel Aladdin might go for similar style.I pray to the universe that Aladdin is the most un-Guy Ritchie movie that Guy Ritchie has ever made. Like Disney just has a gang of producers on set every day ready to keep him from fucking it up.
I figure if they got Guy Ritchie the producers want something Snatch-ish. Lock Stock-ish.
But you know - Disneyed.
Snatch and Lock Stock are good movies but.... they never achieved the same commercial success as Sherlock. I don't see why the producers will go for that style of movie instead of something that has proven to be a success.I figure if they got Guy Ritchie the producers want something Snatch-ish. Force Awakens & Rogue One opened the day before and the day of my birthday, respectively.
I dunno. The animated Aladdin's structure and setpieces allow for that sort of interpretation pretty easily, I think.
Like, if you're looking at that movie, and trying to imagine how to transplant it to live action and how it might move in that way, getting the guy who has made more than a few movies about street-level shenaniganery makes some level of sense.
(don't mistake this for me saying he's a perfect match or that he won't fucking botch it)
For some reason I thought it was 2019.They're both next year.

But Michael B. Jordan has been headlining critical and successful films from the indie Fruitvale Station, to Creed, to the upcoming Coogler collaboration in Wrong Answer.
They're building Michael B. Jordan the correct way to be a leading man in Hollywood.
Deadline is saying $8M for Dunkirk, up to $10M for Emoji, $7.5M for Atomic Blonde, and $5M for Girls Trip on Friday based on early matinees.
