Man, who would have thought we'd ever get a successful revival of not one but both major Id properties? Huh.

Mighty tempted to pick up an Xbox One to play this and it's predecessor along with Doom.

Highlight of E3 so far without a fucking doubt. These dudes are on a different level.

Absolutely!!! Even better reveal than I expected :D

Don't know if it's been said already but at least people from Switzerland (and probably other countries) will get both the German and International versions of TNC if they buy either version of the game on Steam.
It already shows up as a "package" containing both versions:

Just thought some guys would like to know.

Also the Steam page for the German version has (for some reason) Italian short description text.

Quoting myself for the new page.

Just Switzerland. The same is true of Wolf14 and Wolf14:TOB, too. It seems weird, but I'm sure there's a reason.

Machine Games did an amazing job with TNO (TOB was good too), and I'm very much looking forward to the follow up.

Loved the opening segments of that trailer. That was cool

But the trailer itself was so bizarrely presented. Just jumping to random cutscenes that don't feel related

But whatever the story looks as fun as ever and holy fuck so does the gameplay. In a few months too? Bless Bethesda

I think new order was the best first person shooter campaign this gen so I'm glad they're continuing with putting some emphasis on the cutscenes and characters too

Too bad they didn't keep it with as minimal plot as possible like they did with DOOM
The plot in TNO was one of the best things about it. It's so expertly written. It's almost a masterclass. This looks just as good. Doom is just a faceless marine killing everything in sight. This Wolfenstein is so much more.

iD properties once again have become kings of fps tbh. The only other single player shooter this gen that gives new order a run for it's money imo was Doom

I'm liking alt history Bernie Sanders.

That was basically the mainstream opinion of international communist parties until the Soviet Union was invaded. It was a war between different imperialist powers and should be boycotted. Some communists in France sabotaged weapon, vehicle and munitions production of the French army. Moscow basically sent instructions to the international branches telling them to take this line because at that stage he had just made a secret pact with Hitler to carve up Eastern Europe between the two of them and the Allies were the favorites to win going into 1939/1940.

Damn, I thought the beginning maybe was representable for the ingame graphics lol. As a hobby 3d artist I should have known better (and deep inside, I did).

That would have been a jump in graphics to remember, the Cuphead for 50's film/tv photorealism.

Edit: Didn't mean to say the game is ugly or anything but it looked pretty modern standard to me.

Game of the Show and Game of the Year (^_____^)

As a kid growing up in the 90s who was obsessed with Wolf3D, I could have never imagined a reality where the property/B.J are now THE premier/definitive FPS experience and FPS protagonist

SO.FUCKING.HAPPY

Sometimes as a 36 year old man I wonder why I still care about lol kiddie video games.

Then I watch those 7 mins we just witnessed then I'm like... yeah that right there.

Well, the reason is that there ARE German speaking people in Switzerland (which, as far as I know, is the vast majority actually) and not everyone of them understands English, Italian, French, Spanish or Romansh so they need a version of the game that they can understand, even if it comes with some minor censorship.

Looks great, played New Order and Old Blood only a few months ago.

Will probably wait for a price drop.......... around January-February before I swoop in and buy buy buy.

I only had time to watch a minute of this, looking forward to seeing the whole trailer this afternoon.

I have ONE question, though! Why did that nazi get an almost empty milkshake?

-edit-
Preorder cancelled, of course!😄

Looking good. Not a huge fan of the first outside of the actual action and gunplay, but this is already looking to have more personality (I love quirky characters). If they can bring this same level of personality and creativity to the level-design (my major issue with the first game) this should be a great fps. Based on what I saw, I'm in.

Too bad they didn't keep it with as minimal plot as possible like they did with DOOM
I'm with you, it's one of the things that dragged Wolfenstein down for me, but it was obvious they were gonna do it again with the sequel. I'm just happy they seem to have injected some more personality into it. Given a choice though: ditch the story and focus on the gameplay.

Yooo hold up hold up hold up

Did anyone mention the head transplant yet, because i am pretty sure that's not BJ's body. See the gold rings across his neck and then consider the Cat-Monkey creature from the beginning of the trailer that has a cat head translated to a monkey's body, he/she also has the same rings. What y'all think ?
That would also explain why BJ is walking without the wheelchair.

V has come to bitches.

Um yeah I was noticing and thinking similar things. It wouldn't surprise me at all with all the crazy tech in the game world.

Loved the new style Wolfenstein, so I'll buy this day one if they change their terrible review policy. And I do always love Bethesda's quick turnaround from announcement to release.

All I ask is that armor and health pickups be automatic.

Just that. And I'll be completely satisfied. Day one, take my money, etc.

Wolfenstein was just that much short of offering up that true in-the-zone gun-zerker flow that it aspires to.

I wonder if that's how they'll explain this:
