Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus trailer (PC/XB1/PS4, Oct 27th, idtech6), season pass

Basically the perfect way to announce your game: kitschy expanded universe skit with humorous tone on point with the previous games, tons of story content showcasing huge cast variety composed of returning and new faces, stretches of gameplay showcasing action / exploration / story sequences and an assortment of enemy types and set pieces, no evidence of deterioration in theme and design from its predecessor, clear step up in technology and asset quality, and clearly billed as a direct sequel and continuation of the protagonist and supporting cast against the most obvious choice of antagonist.

Here's Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus in its entirety. It's everything you wanted. And it comes in a few months.

And as a person who never played the previous game, I feel 100% caught up on what this reboot series is all about (and now I need to play the previous game!).

This is a really fantastic trailer. Makes up for how underwhelming the weekend has been so far.

YES.

I want this.

But I suppose I need to finish the last game. I kept screwing up that damn jump to the chopper part.

Wasn't even any bubblegum.

The story and acting are too good for an FPS. The New Order had some of the best voice acting I've seen in a game, and this looks like it's going to top that. Too bad I get nausea playing FPS these days.

I never even played the first one but this reveal was better than the entirety of the Xbox Press Conference. The game had such a great style and just the characters made me want to play it.

It looks like the choice you made between Wyatt or Ferguson in the first game will be carried over here as well.

I think that's great. I picked Wyatt in the first game and considered that the best path. I expected them to just make Ferguson the canon route by default considering he was the most popular choice in the first game.

God that looks good. The New Order is the best surprise I've ever had in gaming. I had low expectations and came away surprised by some of the most competent writing and acting in a game.

When BJ screamed he didn't want to raise children in a world filled with a bunch of Nazis it felt too relevant and accurate to today. I feel you BJ.

This game looks so damn good. Can't wait. I will support every game from Machine Games.

I sure fucking will be.

Yeah, he's definitely wheelchair-bound, at least for part of the game. You can see it in the shot immediately following the one where he's laying on his back on the conveyor belt.
It could also be that he has some muscle atrophy after being in (another) coma for an uncertain amount of time (obviously months if his lady friend is pregnant).

I forget if he had any weakness after the coma/vegatative state in the first game, but I remember he got over it real quick in order to kill some nazis, haha.

How many "BJ has to act casual around a Nazi cunt stirring some shit up" scenes will there be?

We need a lot of them because those are the best scenes.

Never played Wolfenstein. But this trailer looked really good. Is it worth checking out New Order and Old blood? How do they hold up?

Call of Duty WWII doesn't have a mission where you're high like everyone in the afterparty after a Snoop Dogg concert. 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah, terrific trailer. Not just a strong showcase of the gameplay and cinematics but also creatively put together and clearly establishes an excitingly weird tone without revealing too much. Looking like another must play from MachineGames.

I'm so fucking excited I can't get back to sleep.

Machine Games are kings. And I love how much boiled piss this is causing among alt-right types.

They play awesome, New Order especially is a masterpiece. There might be some issues if you dislike hitscan enemies and shit but it's very manageable and the game is all around so bad ass. It's a great companion to the new DOOM.

Sonic does.

I hate Sonic.

Someone told me to get a milkshake from there, raving about it.. So I went there with my brother and his girlfriend and I ordered one of these things as well as a chilidog. Went to eat the chilidog and it just looked pitiful, one bite... pass, it's all bun, chili is weaksauce. Well at least I have a milkshake. I go to put the straw in, it just bends and the milkshake doesn't have enough give for it to actually go in. At least I have a spoon, right? Fuck it, I'll eat with a spoon I don't care. I go to put the spoon in, it completely shatters.

Threw it in the trash and walked home.

Didn't even say bye.

this is exaggerated in a great way

This team really needs to get a chance to make a duke nukem game, imagining how it would look and play with more emphasis on the extreme side while trying to retain some classic duke level design seems really really good in thought.
