I think they've rethought a lot of things about this game, especially after the huge hype and success of Deadpool & Wolverine. The core of that movie is basically making fun of everything that's considered woke.

Insomniac would be the dumbest studio in the world if they didn't take advantage of that energy at all.

Cant help but point out that Mystique is cannonically one of the most beautiful people on the planet, her being blue and lacking pupils/irises is what makes her weird to regular people.
They coulda got any super model for the face scan and it woulda worked.

On the contrary, Deadpool and wolverine works with most audiences because it's making fun of the culture war as a whole. I can also see how someone who is sufficiently conditioned in such a way could go in and only really notice the anti-woke or woke commentary.

The second one is not real, its a pre-alpha and everyone was ugly in it. ill withhold judgment until the final version.

Jean just looks wierd so I have hope it's a placeholder face scan. Especially the way it was in the leaked prototypes where the head was placed on some body that didn't match.
