It's a real word that's been around for a while, like "That made me cringe" or something. But it's a very modern thing to hear it as a one-word reaction to something ("Cringe!") or used as an adjective ("That show is cringe") rather than its proper form as a verb.
It's modern usage also tends to be used as one of those catch-all word-that-describes-something-not-good too.

Putting the idiocy of all that aside, now it's been dumbed to mean "attracted to feminine women" or "you dared disagree with woman".
Incel: another word that was already stupid to begin with, it's just another way to say "attracted to feminine women" just like gooner. The only saving grace for incel is that it's not bastardizing an already real, established word like goon. People who use it are still brainless morons though.
Slop: Overused as fuck. I don't have a visceral hatred for it like I do gooner and incel and most of the time the word is being used to correctly describe something of low quality, but it is massively overused. Use garbage, trash, refuse, horseshit, crap, whatever. Just any synonym for bad will work better than just saying slop.

I've seen married men be called incels so yes, it essentially just means "I don't like you". I've also seen cunty feminists use it to describe fans of games like Genshin Impact, Marvel: Rivals, Stellar Blade, etc. Again, if you want to call a guy a virgin, just say virgin instead of adopting idiotic slang like incel.
