Iran actually looked good at the end, I sort of expected it to be a one sided affair after the first half. They really fought back.

This is the first time ive seen U.S soccer play a full match since they failed to qualify last time and they looked surprisingly good. A lot of the old guard has left, and these guys actually look talented. Some very fancy footwork and dribbling ive come to expect from top european clubs.

Still lacking that finishing killer instinct, but they did lose Pulisic who has got that x-factor. Very impressed tbh. I think they might have a small chance to upset Netherlands even if they played rather poorly in the second half of this game. For the first time in decades, i think the talent is there.

Correct, it was called Normandy after the Norsemen that took it from the French and there were many wars with France every 10 years after 1066, anyway well done England in the second half, you never know which one is going to show up, we won the group anyway. Foden did well.
