Only thing that I could think to change on mine would be putting the 2 points in improved sprint elsewhere, maybe blade twisting.

I am also going to get a PvP spec, which you recommend?
If you're using swords you're pretty much stuck for combat for that too, just with more PvP talents like imp. sprint and stuff you might not get in a PvE build...
Personally, I think subtlety is the most fun PvP talent tree when you get daggers.
man.... as someone who kind of stepped away from Waracraft in 2008 (Fallout 3!, then more Fallout 3, Then New Vegas, then more New Vegas! etc) going back is so weird, I sort of played it during Lich King (got to level 77), but even that took me over a year, and then catacysm came out, I bought it but didnt even really play it much. So I go back today and of course my guild is gone, and it seems half of them either left the server, or changed race (it was a small guild anyway), so I roll a hunter, I always wanted to be a hunter but never wanted to commit to a elf dwarf, orc or troll, so I thought a human hunter would be cool, but when I rolled it, I dont know I must have had the things in mind I heard over the years that hunters could do (search for pet abilites off other animals to teach them to their pets, rare pets had rare attacks, etc) I did some reading online and it seems all this was removed?
tldr: coming back to the game from basically 2007 to now it just seems so different...I dont think I like it....
Rare pets having rare abilities meant that you were essentially required to farm said pet to be competitive and all hunters would have whatever pet had the highest DPS.
Spirit Beasts still do have a couple of extra abilities, although they aren't unique to the pets, but to the Spirit Beast family.
hmmm maybe its just the mindset of things should be neat and cool to find out, but it seems nowadays everything has been datamined, theorycrafted, min-maxed and wiki'd to death it just ends up making online games...so ......homogenized... i guess. that the one thing I still like about single player rpgs, stuff can be cool and hidden and broken as hell, but often stays that way.
Been wondering something lately and maybe one of you guys know this: do heirloom items quit working exp-wise as soon as you hit 81 or 80? Like should I wear the heirloom gear up until I hit 81? Leveling an alt and this will be important to know soon.

i dunno this world and the ui just feel tacky now.

The shoulders, chest, ring, trinkets and weapons stop scaling and giving experience bonuses at 80. The head and back pieces continue their effects and scaling until level cap.
To be honest, the weapons and most other hear get outclasses by BoE greens from the auction house at levels 77-80 and the killing potential outclasses the experience bonuses of the pieces as well. I usually just replace them at 77 with appropriate Cata greens.
Why did you quit? No one to raid with? Heroic dungeon difficulty?I quit wow after hitting 85 a week after cataclysm launch... Just wasn't feeling it. Is the raid finder and other changes worth coming back for?
I don't know how fun the fights are in normal and heroic mode. Was doing icc heroic 10/25 before cataclysm launch easy, the my guild broke up and doing heroics a week after launch was a horrible experience so I quit. Wasn't fun having to play without my guild, and just didn't feel the same.
Start of expansions are a letdown for me, all that work to kill lk heroic then going back to not being able to do a heroic 5 man and having greens/blues again just wasn't fun.

Yea pretty much what you sign in with. PM me when you figure it outBlah how do I come back from being away since January, all Blackwing/Other old god place gear, and still do 12k more dps than some scrubby DK in all 378s(or whatever the drops are) in the new dungeons? Also did the SAME dps as a retadin in raid gear, /smh.
What is my RealID? is that what I sign in with? I have noone to play with right now, wouldn't mind hooking up with some gaf peeps for dungeons/raid finder/pvp.
The Real ID cross-server stuff is pretty good, it makes it way nicer to do special 5 man runs or old raids or whatever
Yea, I did BWL a while back with some friends... would love to get the shaman stuff from there, heh.
Fair enough, cheers. About time I found a social guild that isn't shit really.
No, you can't enter MC or BWL solo through the NPC or orb.You can however enter BWL and MC solo. It doesn't like you jumping into the instance portals but there are no restrictions of entering them through the conversation options from the dude or the orb.
Talking about soloing older content, can I create a raid group without having to involve anyone else?
No, you can't enter MC or BWL solo through the NPC or orb.
Well, sort of. You can create a second account for free. The only restriction is that you can't level past 20. You only need to reach level 10 in order to form raids. I quickly leveled a mage to 10 on a second free account when I got tired of begging guildies for invites to form raids when soloing for transmog gear. You simply launch the game twice and log into each account, then form your raid. You can close out of the second client (with your lowbie) once the raid has formed.
The only restriction is that your character has to be level 10 or higher. This stops the gold farmer spam abuse, which is why they didn't want free accounts forming raids in the first place. I was able to join a raid with my free account level 10 mage no problem though.
Speaking of attunement - I think it would be kind of fun if they did an attunement again for a raid. At least a simple one (not saying they have to go Onyxia or Black Temple on us.)
It adds character/flavor.
Sure, you can kind of say they did it more recently with the ICC 5-Mans in Wrath, and the current Caverns of Time dungeons, but that's not the same as fighting your way through the depths of Blackrock Caverns (with a quest) to attune yourself to Molten Core, or through the reaches of Upper Blackrock Spire to get to Blackwing Lair.
You could argue that they did it somewhat with Ulduar and Algalon's Key, but that's sort of a special case where only one person in the raid becomes attuned (at a time.) Though really all of Ulduar is a special case.
So turns out trying to pvp with S9 and blue gear from like, a year ago... not the best idea in the world.
Not really fun getting repeatedly stomped while trying to gear up, /smh
You could buy blue pvp gear in the AH. The item lvl is 377 these days.
Or you could run multiple heroics and just trade justice points into honor points.
