World of Warcraft |OT9| People still play this? Isn't it from 2004

Need to change my 5man spec a bit, im not really using Stonebark more than once during a fight really and Flourish would probably help mana intensive fights (I was completely oom during Moroes earlier for example and extending those hots would have been much better than recasting them, especially with 2 rejuvs from germination).

Cenarion Ward, Germination and Cultivation will stay tho.

Remind me, timewalking (next event) weekly quest has a cache with decent ilvl reward right?

Protection Pally - Which trinket is better? Same item level:

Trinket 1:
898 Haste

Equip: Your attacks have a chance to activate Devilsaur's Stampede, causing your steps to deal 198,000 Physical damage to nearby enemies over 8 sec.

Trinket 2:
1123 Strength
898 Haste

Bottom line: strength or passive?

One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
I'd use the former just because it's cool but I think the stat stick is better.

Any reported cases of legendaries from bonus rolls or is that not possible?

I'm focusing on Resto for my shaman, but I play Enhance a little and it just makes me shake my head at Outlaw. When my rogue was at a similar ilvl it wasn't performing nearly as well. Despite Enhance having a decent amount of RNG to it, it doesn't compare to Outlaw's. Feels like the difference in spec is worth almost 10 ilvls.

:( @ Ele though. It's why I rolled a shaman years ago. Just doesn't feel good to play, and that artifact ability is so uninspired compared to the others I've used. At least Resto and Enhance feel great though.

Yeah it's a heroic raid cache.

That devilsaur proc is nice for AOEing but keep in mind it does actually require you to move which can be a bit counterintuitive in a group environment. I'd probably only use in on trash or stuff you really over gear.

Also the fact that stat priority is similar for both resto and enhance helps.

I hope it doesn't take another expansion or five months until they fix the stuttering and freezing during loading. Holy shit it's been annoying since the last patch, before that, no problem.

you cannot bonus roll mounts or legendaries

Is this only for current content? I bonus rolled the Elegon mount in MoP (greatest bonus roll of my life) There is also plenty of evidence of people bonus rolling the cloud serpent from Sha of Anger. Hmm, seems a bit weird since what I found online says Elegon mount CANNOT be bonus rolled but I definitely did bonus roll it, it was a thing in my guild for weeks about how lucky I was.

Legion's version of Enhancement is the most fun I have had playing WoW ever. Stormstrike has a base cooldown of 15 seconds, but I use it on average every 3-4 seconds in most of my parses. Keeping up the buffs is pretty simple even without special mods, and since they're all on you and not the mob, target swapping is a piece of cake. The cooldowns all get along with one another and you can use them without fear whenever they are available, because they're available frequently and they pile a lot of damage into a short window of time.

Compare that to Elemental, which has all sorts of contradictory and asinine talent choices and cooldowns that are awkward to stack together. There's never been any situation that I've been asked to switch to Ele because the flexibility and power of Enhancement is just that good.

You can bonus roll mounts that are a rare drop like the Elegon one but not the ones that always drop like Nightbane.

Oh so you can bonus roll the Attuman mount then for example

Pretty sure the rule of thumb is that if it's in the dungeon journal on the boss's loot table, it can be bonus rolled.

so I found out you can macro out a set of yells with a skill

so now whenever I time warp I shall randomly yell

"Another one Bites The Dust!!"
"Gotta get back in time!"
"For so many years have gone though I'm older but a year"
"Live life at the Razors edge!"

thanks shard of exodar, you let me be more annoying when I time warp myself

I don't understand the decision to take Chimera Shot away from MM and put it in the BM talent tree, and then make it awful so you can't even use it.

And it's a cool ass spell too.

At a loss on how to get more recipes for cooking, unless I got them all. Not even maxed it as nothing gives points 100%.

Nomi even gives me back fish and other stuff. I got this addon that is suppose to tell me, but don't think it helps.

Any healer managed to get / try out that Karazhan Mana Wyrm trinket that spawns mana balls?

Any good if so? The mana regen bubble trinket from EN is ok but sometimes you have little wiggle room to pop it.

Sorry noob question. Is there an updated list/rank of enhancement shaman trinkets?

best answer is to sim it, or check the shaman discord. There are some trinket lists but nothing 100% solid for stuff like karazhan or even updated SA, I think.

Awful in what way? Its doing a lot more damage than it was earlier in the expansion.

still a subpar melee spec compared to its competitors.

Iunno, playing one of the worst ranged specs is already pretty obnoxious, but at least balance is fun. I'll probably do the hunter. Hell, may do a leveling binge and sit them both at 110 to collect AK

Level them up and let AK accumulate. See what happens after Valor/Nighthold?

Just waiting for the chance to play Surv myself.

Said fuck it and just bought the books for my Ret hidden appearance. Meh.

Any DKs here? Should I be going Frost or Unholy? Probably won't be raiding too much, so if one is better for M+ that's probably what I'd be looking for.

I haven't even touched Unholy yet because Frost is so much fun to play. So that gets my vote, it has good cleave so if you're doing M+ it should be fine.

It is probably the most punishing spec in the game as far as mistakes go. Small miscalculations and timing issues can cost you 20-30% of your DPS. The major problem, though, is that they added a melee spec to a class whose ranged specs do not have the typical downsides of ranged (movement issues), so the melee spec has the downsides of melee but doesn't offer any upsides. So unless surv is doing more AoE or ST than either Marks or BM, you introduce downsides without really adding upsides. Combined with the fact that surv is 1000x more complex than either marks or BM puts the spec in a really odd position.

All that said, it is a fun spec to play and if being optimal doesn't really matter to you by all means play it. Problem is the intersection between people wanting a super complex spec and people willing to be non-optimal is probably pretty small.

I've played the game soooo long and done mythic raiding, 10+ and over mythic runs and I'm still not exactly sure how the secondary stats work (outside of knowing what stat is good for what spec of course). Like, how much does the ''%'' actually matter if at all compared to the raw amount of stat. What is even the point of having the %? How does any of this shit scale.

I think Survival Hunter should have some more utility. Like, throw a combat res at it for starters if BM can have one, it actually makes more sense on Surv. I do think Surv will get buffed sooner rather than later but who knows if it will be enough.

It increases whatever stat it is by %?

If you have 50% crit, you'll be critting every other attack on average.

If you have 50% haste, then your auto attacks/spell casting is 50% faster.

I have a 840+ ring WQ up right now, I don't think I've ever seen a ring reward before.

But then you have stuff like Mistweaver where I have 250% mastery to add a bonus heal. 250% of what exactly? And how much haste stat do I need to get 1%? How does it scale ect. Is there diminishing returns?

I know it isn't that important but I like to know the smaller details on stuff like this lol.
