Chittagong said:I could swear that there was one of these threads before, but in that one the characters were truly so hideous that they'd make you laugh with tears in your eyes.
Some memorable ones:
- The Elf made of approximately one and a half polygons
- The 3D Realms (?) disco room character
But the most hidous / hilarious character of 2005 award goes already this early in the year to Gizmondo and a guitarplaying game. They had this character that was awfully animated, horribly modelled and didn't have any expressions, it's mouth was constanty wide open and the character looked deformed. While playing it with a colleague in E3 we were holding our stomachs laughing. New Edge pimps it as their premier original IP :lol

Bobby "Scaler" Jenkins got more than he bargained for when he stumbled upon his next door neighbor's evil plot to take over the world by stealing all the lizards and training them to become his mutant army. Bobby takes on his enemies in ways kids will only have dreamed of... by transforming into one of them. Sneaky, elusive, witty and hysterical this unexpected hero will keep you guessing just what will happen next!

I love the Metal Gear series, but this is bad. I know the oversized green coat is suppose to be like a bomb suit, but the roller blades? And his name is "Fatman" which is equally retarded.

Yeah, it's a bit of a shame. They talked a lot about their ideas on their 'official' board at TXB.com, and the game actually sounded really interesting and open-ended, if a bit too ambitious. Also, for some time they had said that the Xavier model was updated, complete with 'fur-shading' and whatnot, and to my knowledge they just never showed the public. At least a couple E3s went by where they promised to have a booth showing off the game, and it never happened. I remember acting pretty pissed at them about it, too.Kulock said:Apparently Xavier got an update at some point... I thought that was hair at first, but apparently it was a bandana to cover a bad eye...

Got bored and looked up some info on the game. Looks like they had a few decent idea, but too much of a "We can do ANYTHING!" approach, and I didn't spot anything since late 2001. Their domain's gone, too.
