Honestly it’s a very cool setting, and a cool AC story could be told there. But I don’t think it works for the flow of the AC gameplay. They should take another crack at New Orleans.
Or like a prohibition era US city could be pretty cool too actually.
*Blend in crowd. Hide in plain sight*I think AC works best in old sprawling cities. Old west is too empty.
No thanksHow would this be executed to set it apart from Red Dead? Could it even be done effectively in your opinion?
Mirage was very much old style AC. Give it a shot if you haven't.its time to make assassins creed a assassin game again
Period could work if the main area was san fran in the 1880s with california countryside to the rockies.![]()
but watch dogs is even more cringe then AC, "Yo chill this aint cap , im totally low key shook while adulting" levels of cringe. The world was nice looking though ( in 2 )This would simply end up being the game that connects AC to Watch Dogs.
and I would like that.
The good news for you is that only 1 out of 3 WD games feature heavy hip hop lingo.but watch dogs is even more cringe then AC, "Yo chill this aint cap , im totally low key shook while adulting" levels of cringe. The world was nice looking though ( in 2 )
No that was colonial US. More specifically the Northeast.Didn't Assassins Creed III play in the old west?
Its not hip hop lingo...its millenial /gen z lingo. The first twogames have that and those kinds of characters..... and the third game looks like it features tons of characters that look like that. I havnt played it. To be honest, its the kinda cringe that is UBIs shtick across all their games. The good news for you is that only 1 out of 3 WD games feature heavy hip hop lingo.
This, how long are they gonna continue the story? Any good story need end at some point with satisfying conclusion.Better idea: Just let it die already
You misunderstand what has happened in this series since AC 3. The Desmond arc is over and his story was completed. It has been over since AC 3.This, how long are they gonna continue the story? Any good story need end at some point with satisfying conclusion.
But seems Ubi want keep making AC forever and story has become a mess even worse than Kingdom Hearts.
But isnt entire point of Assassin organization is to fight Templars. You misunderstand what has happened in this series since AC 3. The Desmond arc is over and his story was completed. It has been over since AC 3.
Right now there isn't really a primary character nor driving factor outside of the animus, not on the level of something like Yakuza or Kingdom Hearts. Instead now each entry in the series has become more of a 'peek into the history of this moment in time as we tell a story' similar to what the history channel used to do with shows like Vikings. Sometimes they will have you come out of that experience to learn more about Abstergo or whatever fake company name they're using at that moment in time, but it's just background to the actual historical fiction tale they're telling.
Yes. They do so in different ways throughout history, as illustrated in each game. But isnt entire point of Assassin organization is to fight Templars.
Because it's their connective tissue as a brand, like Final Fantasy and it's specific brand of creatures and magic per entry, or SMT and their brand of creatures and magic per entry. If that’s case why even bother with animus and Assasins, just make new IP about that time period.
yeah, not a whole lotta parkouring to be done...
Maybe badlands/box canyons could do the trick? They wouldn't be urban or populated though. Tree parkour sounded like a good idea for AC3, but everything was too samey which made it bland. Actually, everything in AC3 was samey and bland.No. Ac needs verticality
I will add to this comment by saying boring.I think AC works best in old sprawling cities. Old west is too empty.
Don't know. There are certain areas where the AC games do stuff better than RDR2: Controls, how the narrative and missions are using (or at the very least not prohibiting the player from using) the open-world, combat.Ubi is never going to do this because even though RDR2 is 7 years old at this point it would still absolutely body whatever sludge Ubi puts out and fold them like a lawn chair.
