i got the ps2 hdd for $40 at circuit city during their half-off sale..

i was gonna flip it on ebay and make like $20 out of it but im wondering if i could use it on my xbox but im wondering if its worth it in terms of value ($40 for 40gb) and the fact that its only 5400 rpm.

what do you guys think? i wanna use it to store games on my xbox and play them off the hard drive.

A bit small, depends on how many games u own. It's gonna fill up quickly, believe me.

And there's a lot more to consider with modding than putting a new hard drive in. If you're going to engage in all that, there are bigger hard drives (and even better deals).

Not worth it. If you can really make 20$ off the PS2 HDD, you can just put that money towards a PC drive and end up with something most likely at least double the capacity.
