Yes. I've thought she was hot since we were kids. Now we're both in our forties and I still think she's hot. Of course, we're both married and cousin-fucking is frowned upon. But in a different world? Definitely smang.

And not only are we cousins, but her mom is my dad's twin sister.

Family is parents (and grandparents) and siblings. Everything else is fair game.

Of course there has to be an attraction and usually that can't happen if you grew up too close with them, but come on, that distant cousin you only saw once when you were 5 that suddenly goes to spend a summer at your house and wears those tiny shorts everywhere is a very healthy fantasy.
 
When I found out my dad was my adopted dad I was so kicking myself now knowing half my relatives are not blood related.
 
When I was younger my mom remarried. I developed a crush on my new step-dad's younger sister, who is only ~6 years older than me.

If there was no relation I'd think about it but I doubt I'd go through with anything.
 
I have a second cousin who is not related to me by blood. Her dad was adopted into the family. So...yeah. I totally would. She is hot, and I never see her, so that revulsion of doing a family member is lost on her.

I was also born in West Virginia, so I guess I am living up to my stereotypes.

I have to say I'm morbidly curious as to the circumstances of how this would allowed (were your parents aware or was this done without their knowledge?) But at the same time I don't want to pry and make you uncomfortable.

As for me, most my cousins are male. The one female cousin I have is nearly half my age. So, no.

Fun related story. When I was 12, my grandparents took my family with them to Catalina. We were split up amongst several motel rooms and I had to share a room (and a queen size bed) with my three years older sister. We figured it was no big deal. We slept on opposite sides, fully clothed, nothing happened.

Fast forward to my sister first living with me and my Uncle, we decided to share the queen size pull out bed. Fully clothed, nothing weird. My Grandmother scolds us as being indecent and wrong.
