Yes I would. Wasn't even uncommon half a century ago.

And so would all of you. A dick doesn't magically go limp when you realize a person has 25% more similar genes than a random stranger.

On a related note ever since I was a little kid i had a 3rd cousin that just flat out told me she was in love with me. Flash forward to today , shes married and has kids and still lets this be known to me.

Like they said Los primos se exprimen", it's a popular an Hispanic saying that pretty much means Cousins are meant to be fucked or on the lesser scale, that if you find your cousin hot, got for it. It's pretty normal, however dating-marrying or having a child with a cousin is frown upon.

All of my (first) cousins are ugly, so none of them.

But nah, I wouldn't be against boning a cousin if she was attractive and I liked her. In my deep south Alabamian town, there's actually a good chance anyone you talk to is your second or third cousin so I guess it doesn't really matter anyway.

Uhh...more chances of getting recessive genes if you're related, which account for most genetic diseases. Similar chance of birth defects to woman who're having babies at older ages. Not saying you're absolutely going to have children with defects, but it's fact that related genes in your family mixing will lead to recessive alleles (xx instead of Xx).

There are rare genetic diseases that only show up in such first cousin babies.

Thought this was common knowledge.

The data there suggests that its not a particularly big deal at all; around the same level of risk as having kids later in life. I honestly don't really see what the big deal is, to be honest. Incest aversion appears to mostly arise due to the Westermarck Effect and not to some supernatural aversion to blood relationships. Most people don't really have super close familial relations with their cousins in the modern world since the decline of extended families.

Yeah, I mentioned that, just wanted to say you'll likely have recessive alleles in a first cousin baby whether or not that's related to a genetic disease. It's probably true some diseases are more because of tight-knit (ie genetically isolated) communities like Tay Sachs with Ashkenazi Jews than strictly because of first cousin sex.

Here in Brazil, it's pretty common, actually. It's not really recommended, but that doesn't means it doesn't happens, if both of them want anyway.
