You enter it when you create your account at the WorldofWarcraft web page.
 
Ok you can get the file off of fileplanet again now. Estimated time, 6 hours 45 mins =/

EDIT: Scratch that, the servers keep going down.

People actually pay for this shit? Unbelievable.
 
peopel that, you know, actually have keys, shouldn't be allowed to complain... it just increases my urge to kill something -_-
 
Hey now, that goddamn fileplanet almost got me killed when I took on 4 quillboars at once. Thank goodness for berserker, or else fileplanet would have got it's way.
 
Man, I just got back from playing, had to stop because need to get up early tomorrow. This game fucking ROCKS!!!


I took a mage-Gnome and was just questing, looking at the surroundings and such. Ping 260 from Europe, quite well I suppose. For the record, I didn't get that second account. And I downloaded the game like a week ago, before the final stress test. I had it installed on my computer so it only needed an account.

Need to get some rest now, toodles
 
For all those who did not get a key, here's some hope: Fileplanet only had 5% of the keys, Blizzard has the rest. They just haven't started giving them out so they don't flood their servers.
 
Im not worrying about getting a key or downloading it probably, ill just stick with R&C and Halo 2 for the next 2 weeks. See ya guys on the 23rd!
 
Is there any reason to bother installing it until the wow site comes back up? Can we enter the key in game or do we have to go to wow?

that i dont know, i was told by a friend they were givng out more keys and he gave me a link to the sign up page.
 
lol dunno how but i just managed to skip the entire queue and am now downloading. Pitty I'll lose connection within 5 hours but still

No point really. Can watch the kickass intro I guess. You gotta create an account at worldofwarcraft.com before you can play.

The World of Warcraft test servers will be brought down over the next 24 hours to apply a hot fix. This hot fix will address some issues with the latest patch. Here are a few things that will be included:

- Players will no longer receive a durability penalty for PvP deaths. If you get killed by another player, you will not take durability damage on resurrection.

- The bug that was blocking players from accepting the Warlock’s Felhunter quest will be fixed.

- The bug that blocked Warriors from learning Intercept Level 1 will be fixed.

- The Growl skill was not showing up for Druids who have the Bear Form or Dire Bear Form ability. This will be fixed.

- Paladin skill trainers will be having an Open Beta sale. All skills will be available for 99% off their original price.

Yay, I forgot CRC errors happen when downloading/unzipping large files. It's working better now that I unzipped the individual files.

I just tried again and it shows the site as still being down. Even though I just registered and created an account through it. It should be up soon enough then. I hope my account was actually created.
 
by create an account you mean use a key or get a key or what? the wow site has been down for me since this whole thing started.

Yeah. I got that signup.worldofwarcraft.com to load, but the security image won't load so... :x
