logout and im all clear.

What a hassle, I should get a level up just for that. Although if I paid attention in the first place to the stupid quest guy.

well I only bought one stable slot, which is fine, I might use it sometime. I never bought a second as far as I know, my dead pet just got shoved into it for some reason.

I fell off the boat in Auberdine (don't ask) and my bear came with me. He gets killed by one of those sea creatures so.

I go back to where he died, to try to revive him and...

"you have no pet"

Call pet

"your pet is dead"

!?! So I go to the stable and he's the active one switch him for my cat and then back and try again...same result.

I made a ticket fo a GM the next day after porting me around alliance territories I was finally able to call and revive my pet.

Relogging can usually fix that, I dunno why people suggest swapping pets into stable slots, that has never cured said bug for me.

This is not a good idea. The stable is not there for you to have multiple pets, its so you can learn new pet skills.

There are 4 pet skills that you can learn: Bite, Claw, Growl and Cower. Growl is learned from pet trainers, everything else you must be taught by the animals themselves. You need to find animals that have these skills (in escalating ranks, like any player ability) and fight with it until you learn that skill from the pet (usually within 5 mins) you can then ditch that animal, go back to your original pet and use the training points you've accrued to teach your pet the new skills you picked up.
